A SEER SEES - PART I
Unstable
and Confused Spirits!
I see: Frustrations, bitterness and resentment; such as, people getting irate, angry, frustrated and upset for one reason or another!
I see: their frustrations, bitterness, and resentment especially when they were reminded of an oath or promise of their commitment(s) in which they had verbally made to another and they haven’t or couldn’t honor.
I see: more frustrations, bitterness and resentment when they have had more then ample time to honor that commitment!
I see: people getting angry, irate, frustrated and upset when they are caught, proven or found to be incorrect or wrong!
I see: people getting angry, irate, frustrated and upset when they have been caught lying, cheating, stealing or simply not knowing how to fulfill their commitment, promise or oath that they had made or had forgotten about.
I see: various circumstances that had occurred to the extent other requirements were necessary to be done which were not known when they made the commitment, promise or oath!
I see: people for the most part of the time by the various occurrences in their life, many various circumstances took place which prevented them from fulfilling their oath(s), obligation(s) or commitment(s) which was beyond their control!
I see: people getting more angry, irate, frustrated and upset when they observe someone or another person doing exactly what they themselves are doing or have been guilty of which was wrong and was not of The Lord God Jehovah.
All things!
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Most of the time,
People can work or know what to do, when they know the TRUTH
pertaining to a circumstance,
but it is hard to work with what they don’t know!
A person can work with the truth, because they can depend on TRUTH,
But it is very hard to work with a lie, for then, to get accomplished that which is necessary
the person must search for the truth!
The work may still be accomplished as long as it is performed with TRUTHFULNESS
And HONESTY!
Jesus
Christ “is” The way, The truth and The Life!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus Christ “Is” The Sevenfold Way
1. The only way to God (Matthew 7:14; John 10:1,7,9; John 14:6)
2. The way of escape (1 Cor. 10:13)
3. The way into the holiest (Hebrews 9:8-15; Hebrews 10:19-23)
4. The new and living way (Hebrews 10:20; Hebrews 5:9)
5. The way of truth (2 Peter 2:2)
6. The right way (2 Peter 2:15)
7. The way of righteousness (2 Peter 2:21; 1 Cor. 1:30)
[truth]
This word is used by Jesus in John 22 times and only 4 times by Him in the other gospels. He is the truth of God that sets free (John 8:32-36; John 14:6). He is the teacher and source of truth (Matthew 22:16; Mark 12:14; John 1:14,17).
[life]
This word is used 44 times in John and only 38 times in the other gospels. Christ is the source of eternal life. See John 6:27.
[no man cometh unto the Father, but by me]
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
[salvation]
Greek: soteria (GSN-4991). It is translated:
1. Saving, deliverance from and preservation from destruction and judgment of Noah's flood (Hebrews 11:7)
2. Saved from enemies (Luke 1:71)
3. Saved from sins (Romans 10:1,9-10)
4. Deliver from slavery (Acts 7:25)
5. Health, preservation of life and physical health (Acts 27:34)
6. Salvation from physical infirmity (Acts 4:12 with Acts 4:10; Acts 3:1-12,16)
7. Salvation in general—all kinds of deliverances (Luke 1:69; John 4:22; Acts 13:26,47; Romans 1:16; Romans 11:11; 2 Cor. 1:6; 2 Cor. 6:2; 2 Cor. 7:10; Ephes. 1:13; Phil. 2:12; 2 Tim. 3:15; Hebrews 6:9; Jude 1:3)
8. Salvation from sins (Luke 1:77; Luke 19:9; Romans 10:10; 2 Thes. 2:13)
9. Salvation, final and complete deliverance from all the curse, including death (Romans 13:11; Phil. 1:19,28; 1 Thes. 5:8-9; 2 Tim. 2:10; Hebrews 1:14; Hebrews 2:3,10; Hebrews 5:9; Hebrews 9:28; 1 Peter 1:5,9,10; 2 Peter 3:15; Rev. 7:10; Rev. 12:10; Rev. 19:1)
Thus, salvation cannot be limited to the initial stage of redemption—forgiveness of sins. See Romans 1:16
[none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved]
Matthew 1:21; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:6,16; John 14:12-15; John 16:16; John 16:23-26; Mark 16:17.
Ephes. 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
[through him we both have access by one
Spirit unto the Father]
Ten Works of Christ
1. He died for us (Ephes. 2:13).
2. He became our peace (Ephes. 2:14).
3. He made Jews and Gentiles one (Ephes. 2:14-16).
4. He broke down wall of partition between Jews and Gentiles (Ephes. 2:14-16).
5. He abolished the law (Ephes. 2:15).
6. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles (Ephes. 2:15-16).
7. He reconciled men to God (Ephes. 2:16).
8. He slew the enmity between Jews and Gentiles (Ephes. 2:15-16).
9. He preached peace to all men (Ephes. 2:17).
10. He made access to God for all (Ephes. 2:18).
[him]
Another clear reference and proof of a Trinity of separate and distinct Persons in the Godhead (1 John 5:7).
[access]
Greek: prosagoge (GSN-4318), the privilege of entrance. Here; Ephes. 3:12; Romans 5:2.
Foul, Unclean Spirits:
personalities and attitudes such as;
Instability, strife, dishonesty, lying, cheating, stealing, resentfulness, bitterness, unrighteousness, unholyness, destroying innocent blood, insecurity, confusion, witchcraft, necromancy, astrology and un-rest are NOT of or from The Lord God Jehovah and these are just to name a few, there are many more!
The
Holy
Spirit and Spirits “of” The Lord God Jehovah
are
also many!
John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in
spirit and in truth.
His body is of spirit substance instead of flesh and bones (Job 13:8; Hebrews 1:3). He has a personal spirit body (Daniel 7:9-14; Daniel 10:5-19); shape (John 5:37); form (Phil. 2:5-7); image and likeness of a man (Genesis 1:26; Genesis 9:6; Ezekiel 1:26-28; 1 Cor. 11:7; James 3:9). He has physical parts such as, back parts (Exodus 33:23), heart (Genesis 6:6; Genesis 8:21), hands and fingers (Psalm 8:3-6; Hebrews 1:10; Rev. 5:1-7), mouth (Numbers 12:8), lips and tongue (Isaiah 30:27), feet (Ezekiel 1:27; Exodus 24:10), eyes (Psalm 11:4; Psalm 18:24; Psalm 33:18), ears (Psalm 18:6), hair, head, face, arms (Daniel 7:9-14; Daniel 10:5-19; Rev. 5:1-7; Rev. 22:4-6), loins (Ezekiel 1:26-28; Ezekiel 8:1-4), and other physical parts. He has bodily presence (Genesis 3:8; Genesis 18:1-22) and goes from place to place in a body like all other persons (Genesis 3:8; Genesis 11:5; Genesis 18:1-5,22,33; Genesis 19:24; Genesis 32:24-32; Genesis 35:13; Zech. 14:5; Daniel 7:9-14; Titus 2:13). He has a voice (Psalm 29; Rev. 10:3-4); breath (Genesis 2:7); and countenance (Psalm 11:7). He wears clothes (Daniel 7:9-14; Daniel 10:5-19); eats (Genesis 18:1-8; Exodus 24:11); rests (Genesis 2:1-4; Hebrews 4:4); dwells in a mansion and in a city located on a material planet called Heaven (John 14:1-3; Hebrews 11:10-16; Hebrews 13:14; Rev. 21); sits on a throne (Isaiah 6; Daniel 7:9-14; Rev. 4:1-5; Rev. 22:3-6); walks (Genesis 3:8; Genesis 18:1-8,22,33); rides (Psalm 18:10; Psalm 68:17; Psalm 104:3; Ezekiel 1); and engages in other activities.
He has a personal soul with feelings of grief (Genesis 6:6), anger (1 Kings 11:9), repentance (Genesis 6:6), jealousy (Exodus 20:5), hate (Proverbs 6:16), love (John 3:16), pity (Psalm 103:13), fellowship (1 John 1:1-7), pleasure and delight (Psalm 147:10), and other soul passions like other beings (Galatians 5:22-23).
He has a personal spirit (Psalm 143:10; Isaiah 30:1) with mind (Romans 11:34), intelligence (Genesis 1:26; Romans 11:33), will (Romans 8:27; Romans 9:19), power (Ephes. 1:19; Ephes. 3:7,20; Hebrews 1:3), truth (Psalm 91:4), faith and hope (Romans 12:3; 1 Cor. 13:13), righteousness (Psalm 45:4), faithfulness (1 Cor. 10:13), knowledge and wisdom (Isaiah 11:2; 1 Tim. 1:17), reason (Isaiah 1:18), discernment (Hebrews 4:12), immutability (Hebrews 6:17), and many other attributes, powers, and spirit faculties.
He has been seen physically many times (Genesis 18; Genesis 32:24-30; Exodus 24:9-11; Joshua 5:13-15; Isaiah 6; Daniel 7:9-13; Ezekiel 1; Acts 7:56-59; Rev. 4-5), and can be understood by the things that are made. Man is the visible image and likeness making the invisible God clearly seen as in Romans 1:20. See Invisibility and Anthropomorphism.
[He that planted the ear, shall he not hear?
he that formed the eye, shall he not see?]
This is an irrefutable argument for the existence of God and His creation of all things. It proves that God is as real as His creation. Whatever ability or attribute a creature has, the Creator also has it in perfection. Instead of these statements proving that God does not have ears, eyes, mind, other physical parts and soul and spirit faculties, they prove that He does have them. Instead of God making such statements to prevent the so-called error of humanizing Him and attributing members of corporeal parts to Him, He makes them to teach plainly that He, as a Spirit Being, does have such parts.
Anthropomorphism
Anthropomorphism is the ascription of human physical parts, attributes, and passions to God, and taking the substantiating statements of Scripture to be literal and not figurative. In support of such teaching an appropriate question is: If God did not mean all He said about Himself in over 20,000 scriptures, then why did He say such things? They certainly do not add to a true understanding of Him if the passages do not mean what they say. Furthermore, why would God, in hundreds of places, refer to Himself as having physical parts, soul passions, and spirit faculties if He does not have them? Would it be necessary for Him to tell us He has such in order to reveal that He does not have them? Would He not be more likely to say in plain language that He does not have eyes, hands, mouth, ears, and other physical members?
It is logical not to question the plain, simple statements of Scripture about God and His body; it is logical to understand them in the same literal way that we understand like statements about angels, men, and other beings. We have no Biblical authority to do otherwise. Romans 1:20 alone proves this.
The truth is that God has revealed Himself to be seen by the natural eyes of men repeatedly, and Biblical writers have given a clear record concerning what He is like. The many personal descriptions of God's body and thousands of plain declarations regarding His soul passions and spirit attributes should not be denied or interpreted contrary to what is written; they should be believed in all simplicity. The constant rejection of revealed facts about God certainly will not give us a true understanding of Him. To acknowledge them as truth will not make God any less glorious, powerful, or great than He really is. God can be like man in physical form and still be as magnificent as we have always thought Him to be. He can have a spirit-substance body and still be like man in size and shape; and He can have passions, feelings, desires, intelligence and will-power without being confined to man's limitation and sinfulness. Truly He is not only all that men, angels, and other beings are in this respect, but infinitely greater in everything; and man in reality is simply a miniature of God in attributes and powers.
He has appeared to many as a person—to Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:7,19-22); Cain (Genesis 4:6,9,16); Abraham (Genesis 17:1-22; Genesis 18:1,22; Genesis 19:1); Isaac (Genesis 26:2-4,24); Jacob (Genesis 28:12-15; Genesis 32:24-32; Genesis 35:1); Moses (Exodus 3:1-4; Exodus 24:12-18; Exodus 33:9-11); Joshua (Joshua 5:13-15); Samuel (1 Samuel 3:10,21); Elijah (1 Kings 19:11-18); David (1 Chron. 21:16-17; 2 Chron. 3:1); Isaiah (Isaiah 6); and others.
Sixty-three Facts about God:
1. He is a person (Job 13:8; Hebrews 1:3).

61. Walks (Genesis 3:8; Genesis 18:1-8,22,33)
62. Rides (Psalm 18:10; Psalm 68:17; Ezekiel 1)
63. Manifests other powers and physical presence like other beings
Is it not as easy to
believe what the Bible says about God as to believe what it does not say? If God had said one time that He did not have
physical parts, soul passions, and spirit faculties as we know them, then the
subject would be closed. But when He
repeatedly uses physical parts and ordinary soul and spirit faculties to reveal
Himself, then we should believe what He says about Himself. If we refuse to do
so, we are guilty of unbelief.
WARNING!
Do not speak against The Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit)!
Remember,
God “is” a Spirit (John 4:24)!
Therefore, DO NOT use God’s name in vain or use Him (His
Name) as a by-word!
Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto
you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the
blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. [32] And
whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but
whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven
him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
John 14:26 But the Comforter,
which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in
my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 20:22 And when he
had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
In other words, Receive ye The
Spirit of God, receive ye the spirit “OF” meaning “FROM” God, Jesus Christ The
Son of God was declaring, Receive ye MY FATHER’S SPIRIT, because My
Father also gave me His spirit (John 10:30; John 4:24)!
John 6:56 He that eateth my
flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
John 10:38 But if I do, though
ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the
Father is in me, and I in him.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are
the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much
fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
[Comforter]
Greek: parakletos (GSN-3875), only used by John in the New Testament. Rendered "Comforter" in John 14:16,26; John 15:26; John 16:7, and "Advocate" in 1 John 2:1. It means one called to the side of another for help or counsel. The Spirit is our Paraclete or Helper on earth and Christ is the Paraclete or Helper in heaven.
1 Cor. 11:23 For I have received
of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus
the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: [24] And when he had given
thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my
body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. [25] After
the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as
oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. [26] For
as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death
till he come. [27] Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup
of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
[28] But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink
of that cup. [29] For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and
drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. [30] For this
cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
Eight Ways to Partake Unworthily
1. By taking the Lord's Supper in envying and strife (1 Cor. 11:18).
2. By taking it to commemorate a mere historical fact, as the Jews celebrated the passover (1 Cor. 11:19).
3. By taking it in gluttony and drunkenness (1 Cor. 11:21-22).
4. By taking it in irreverence to God and His church (1 Cor. 11:22).
5. By taking it in disrespect to the poor and needy (1 Cor. 11:22).
6. By taking it in unbelief, not realizing its true significance, and not discerning the Lord's body and blood to receive the benefits by faith (1 Cor. 11:27-30).
7. By taking it as an unsaved man with sin in the life and without making proper confession and acknowledgement of personal needs (1 Cor. 11:27-30).
8. By taking it without judging oneself so as to escape chastening from God (1 Cor. 11:31-32).
The SEER:
1 Samuel 9:9 (Beforetime in Israel, when a man went to enquire of God, thus he spake, Come, and let us go to the seer: for he that is now called a Prophet was beforetime called a Seer.)
[Prophet]
Hebrew: nabiy, one who spoke for God or was moved upon by Him to give a message.
[Seer]
Hebrew: raah, a seer of visions. Another word for seer was chozeh, which referred more to the spiritual comprehension of what was seen. All three words—nabiy, raah, and chozeh—are used together in 1 Chron. 29:29. All seers were prophets but not all prophets were seers. One who saw what he predicted in a vision was a seer; whereas a prophet would sometimes speak as the Holy Spirit moved him, without seeing anything (1 Samuel 9:15).
Further qualifications of a Seer
of The Lord God Jehovah!
2 Samuel 24:11 For when David was up in the morning, the word of the Lord came unto the prophet Gad, David's seer, saying,
[up in the morning, the word of the LORD
came]
God gave David an answer the day after his repentance. It came by a prophet and was not very encouraging (2 Samuel 24:12-13).
[prophet Gad] Gad, a troop (Genesis 30:11). Two Gad's:
1. The seventh son of Jacob (Genesis 30:11; Genesis 35:26; Genesis 46:16; Genesis 49:19; Exodus 1:4; Numbers 1:14,24-25; Numbers 2:14; Numbers 7:42; Numbers 10:20; Numbers 13:15; Numbers 26:15-18; Numbers 32:1-34; Numbers 34:14; Deut. 27:13; Deut. 33:20; Joshua 4:12; Joshua 13:24-28; Joshua 18:7; Joshua 20:8; Joshua 21:7,38; Joshua 22:9-34; 1 Samuel 13:7; 1 Samuel 24:5; 1 Chron. 2:2; 1 Chron. 5:11; 1 Chron. 6:63,80; 1 Chron. 12:14; Jeremiah 49:1; Ezekiel 48:27-34; Rev. 7:5)
2. A prophet, David's seer (2 Samuel 24:11-19; 1 Samuel 22:5; 1 Chron. 21:9-19; 1 Chron. 29:29; 2 Chron. 29:25)
[David's seer]
Gad was called this because he was especially used in prophecy to David, even from the time of his wanderings before he became king (1 Samuel 22:5). Nathan the prophet was used in 2 Samuel 7:1-29; 2 Samuel 12:1-15.
2 Chron. 9:29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
2 Chron. 29:25 And he set the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the Lord by his prophets.
2 Chron. 35:15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
Amos 7:12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
Amaziah then dealt with Amos, telling him to flee into the land of Judah and prophesy there—not in Bethel again, for it was the king's chapel and court (Amos 7:12-13).
Remember!
1 Chron. 29:29. All seers were prophets but not all prophets were seers. One who saw what he predicted in a vision was a seer; whereas a prophet would sometimes speak as the Holy Spirit moved him, without seeing anything (1 Samuel 9:15).
1 Chron. 29:29 Now the acts of David the king, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, and in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,
Jesus Christ The Son of The Lord
God Jehovah,
was and still “is” a seer!
John 1:44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. [45] Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. [46] And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. [47] Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
[48] Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. [49] Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. [50] Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. [51] And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. [8] And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: [9] Of sin, because they believe not on me; [10] Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; [11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
