ATTITUDES, CREDIBILITY &
PERSONALITIES - PART I
Contained statements
within this document, do not necessarily pertain to everyone in particular, but
only those to whom it does and they will certainly recognize the statement(s)!
Here within, is your double and triple statement and meanings!
Rebuking a spirit of offence:
Peter, at the time of this statement recorded in (Matt. 16:23) was a friend of
Jesus and even afterwards still remained a friend even though the spirit
(attitude) within Peter was an offence unto Jesus and Christ rebuked the spirit
of offence within Peter.
Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Various attitudes and personalities (Spirits)
Mentioning a small list of attitudes (personalities) of persons: such as, high-mindedness, being a smart-aleck, having an impudent attitude, a more intelligent then though attitude, being self centered, more interested in self then others, a care-less attitude, a know it all, having an I don’t care what you think attitude, a smart mouth, being impudent, insolent, contemptuous or arrogant, just to list a few attitudes by which not only displays and shows others a very disrespectful attitude and personality, but further displays to others of the problem(s) they are having about themselves and where the problems originate.
Another statement that a self-centered person will make is, show me and prove it or I don’t believe it, because they are only interested in themselves. Their integrity is very lacking (limited) in themselves and others, requiring others to prove it to them and until the person proves it to them they will refuse to believe it or accept it and even then, they may still refuse to believe it or accept it, depending upon the person or individual.
That kind of persons are very stubborn and they may have an extremely rebellious attitude or personality! Also, this kind or type of person can be and normally is very involved with the things of the world, music, occult, news, science fiction, drama, possessing a kill, kill, kill, or I hate you attitude or I’ll snuff your brains out attitude or statement(s), having a very crude or rude, indigent and despiteful personality and being very defiant to those in authority calling them stupid, ignorant or being on coke and calling it a joke, when they are in all actuality, are being very serious.
Further, this kind or type of person finds it very hard to accept honest and sincere love from anyone, because they find it hard to believe that anyone would or could love them without hurting them. It is very hard for them to relax and trust anyone. It is very hard for them to relax at all, because they have a lot of fear within themselves not wanting others to know that they are afraid to that extent. That is one of the reasons that the person wants to lash out defending off the enemy, even enemies they don’t have.
This kind or type of person will pace themselves to the extent of being overworked (physically and mentally) before they can even fall asleep. As long as they are awake they must continually be doing something for themselves or others (supposedly friends), whither that be reading, playing games, putting themselves on the edge of their own human limit (in their mind), finding it extremely hard to relax or rest.
The Spirit of obesity
Some of these people
(personalities) overeat stuffing themselves, eating gives them the control of
themselves (choosing what they want to eat or whither they want to eat at all
or not), gives them the power of choice about themselves, where otherwise, they
don’t feel as if they have a choice about anything or other things in life.
If they are not very
careful and have a good relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, this type of
person can very easily become discouraged with life in general and become depressed
which can lead to becoming obsessed which can lead to possession which is
having no self control of anything including their own spirit, soul or body.
They then become, after being or remaining in that state of helplessness, almost
incapacitated.
Naturally, these are
not conclusive being the only symptoms pertaining to the spirit of obesity;
there are many others in like fashion!
Naturally, Re-dedication
or dedication and re-consecration unto Almighty God with and by fasting and
prayer unto Him is the answer to these disastrous, devastating problems, which
increases a persons faith in Him!
A different kind of fear,
The fear of appearing overweight or not
appearing pretty to themselves!
Some people are very
dissatisfied, displeased with and about themselves having the Spirit of bulimic.
The individual simply refuses to eat at all or continually regurgitates by one
means or another, fearing for their looks, fearing they will appear to be
overweight, when in all actuality, their physical body may be very slender and
possibly, five, ten, twenty, thirty, forty or even fifty pounds under-weight.
Naturally, these are
not conclusive being the only symptoms pertaining to the spirit of bulimic;
there are many others in like fashion!
Naturally,
Re-dedication or dedication and re-consecration unto Almighty God with and by
fasting and prayer unto Him is the answer to these disastrous, devastating
problems, which increases a person’s faith in Him! However, most doctors will
tell the bulimic person NOT to fast, because again normally, a person
will lose weight because of their stomach feeding off the fatty tissue in the
persons body first, before it begins to feed off of the muscle tissue.
The very most important
thing for the person to do is effectual fervent pray unto the Heavenly Father
and allow Him by the power of the Holy Spirit to speak to their heart, allowing
Him to guide them that they might have or gain more confidence in Him and life
(James 5:16)!
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray
one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much.
Whereas fasting
(according to the non-Christian doctor) would be totally devastating and
possibly fatal to the person’s life. But, anytime Almighty God “is”
involved in a circumstance and the person being completely honest before
Him, things become and are, quit different for His sake and His glory! The
Heavenly Father is glorified by causing the person to recover unto good health!
How does a True Child of God
Help a person that has a feeling of helplessness or feels that they
have no hope?
Jesus did and still does care! As we show in Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by
one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) [18] Therefore as by
the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of
life.
1 Cor. 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the
Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
2 Cor. 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that
the ministry be not blamed:
Philip. 1:10 That ye may approve things that are
excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of
Christ;
1 Peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of
offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient:
whereunto also they were appointed.
[excellent] Greek: diaphero (GSN-1308), differ. We are to test all things and disapprove those that differ from the gospel (1 Thes. 5:22).
[sincere] Greek: heilikrines (GSN-1506), pure, uncorrupted. The word means without wax, an allusion to finishing cloth with gummy materials hiding flaws until carefully examined by looking through it in sunlight. The Greek might be translated "sun-judged." Only here; 2 Peter 3:1 (cp. 1 Cor. 5:8).
[without offence] Greek: aproskopos (GSN-677), not striking against; not stumbling; void of offense to God or man; neither stumbling nor causing others to stumble (Phil. 1:10; Acts 24:16; 1 Cor. 10:32; 1 Peter 1:17).
Reasons Why
the Jews Stumbled at Christ:
1. Because He did not come as a worldly prince to deliver them from the Romans (John 11:48; Acts 1:7).
2. Because He was a poor man having no appeal to worldly people (2 Cor. 8:9; John 15:19-23; John 17:14-16).
See Ten Reasons Why the Jews Killed Jesus.****
[stumbling] Greek: proskomma (GSN-4348). Translated "stumbling" (1 Peter 2:8); "stumblingblock" (Romans 14:13; 1 Cor. 8:9); and "offence" (Romans 14:20).
[offence] Greek: skandalon (GSN-4625). Translated "offence" (1 Peter 2:8; Matthew 13:41; Matthew 16:23; Matthew 18:7; Luke 17:1; Romans 9:33; Romans 16:17; Galatians 5:11); "occasion of stumbling" (1 John 2:10; Romans 14:13); and "stumbling-block" (Romans 11:9; 1 Cor. 1:23; Rev. 2:14).
[being disobedient] This is what made them stumble. Anyone who obeys God will not stumble at Christ.
[also they were appointed] This simply means that people are appointed to stumble if they are determined to be disobedient. God did not choose them to stumble or be disobedient. This was their choice (Matthew 13:15).
****Ten Reasons Why the Jews Killed Jesus
1. Kingship (Matthew 2:2-3, 16; John 18:33-40; John 19:12-22)
2. Telling the truth (Luke 4:21-29; John 8:40)
3. Healing on the sabbath (Matthew 12:9-14; Mark 3:1-6; John 5:16; John 9:16)
4. Jealousy (Matthew 26:3-4; Matthew 27:18; Mark 14:1; Mark 15:10; Luke 22:2; John 11:48)
5. Ignorance (Matthew 26:64-66; Mark 14:62-64; John 12:40; Acts 3:17)
6. To fulfill prophecy (Luke 13:33-35; John 12:38-40; John 18:31-32; John 19:11, 28, 36-37; Acts 2:22-36; Acts 3:18)
7. Claiming Sonship (John 5:18; John 10:24-39; John 19:7)
8. Unbelief (John 5:38-47; John 6:36; John 9:40-41; John 12:36-38)
9. Claiming to be God (John 8:53-59; John 10:33; cp. John 1:1-2; Hebrews 1:5-14)
10. Fear of losing their authority (John 11:46-53; John 12:10-11, 19)
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that
are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not
in him.
[Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world] Two things not to love:
1. Greek: kosmos (GSN-2889), the order, behavior, fashion, and government of this world system (Matthew 4:8; Matthew 13:22; Ephes. 2:1-3; James 4:4; 2 Peter 1:4; 2 Peter 2:20)
2. The things that make up the world system of evil and rebellion against God (see Three Classes of Things of the World System)
[If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him] This is the reason men must not love the world system or the things in it. Love of God and love of these things are not compatible.
Three Classes of
Things in the World System
1. The lust of the flesh (1 John 2:15; see Seventeen Works of the Flesh)
2. The lust of the eyes:
(1) Lust for women (Matthew 5:28; Job 31:1)
(2) Eyes full of adultery - even men with men and women with women (2 Peter 2:14; Romans 1:18-28)
(3) Covetousness (Psalm 10:8; Luke 12:15)
(4) All things desired (Eccles. 2:10)
(5) Idolatry (Ezekiel 6:9; Ezekiel 18:6-15)
(6) All kinds of evil (Matthew 6:23; Matthew 7:22)
3. The pride of life:
(1) Self-righteousness (Job 32:1)
(2) Positions (Genesis 3:5; Ezekiel 28:11-17; 1 Tim. 3:6; 3 John 1:9)
(3) Power (Leviticus 26:19)
(4) Riches (Psalm 39:6; Ezekiel 28:5)
(5) Beauty (Ezekiel 28:11,17)
(6) Strength to war (2 Chron. 26:16)
(7) Constant boasting of one's self; glorying in sexual activity; pleasures; and all the vanity of life (1 John 2:15; Psalm 24:4; Psalm 36:2; Isaiah 3:16)
[pride of life] Greek: alazoneia (GSN-212), vain-boastings.
Seventeen Works of
the Flesh
And each of these works
are also names of spirits and we
include some of
their sub-categories’ which are also spirits!
1.Adultery. Greek: moicheia (GSN-3430), unlawful sexual relations between men and women, single or married (Matthew 15:19; Mark 7:21; John 8:3; Galatians 5:19). Note the related Greek: verbs, moichao (GSN-3429) (Matthew 5:32, note Matthew 19:9; Mark 10:11-12), and moicheuo (GSN-3431) (Matthew 5:27-28; Matthew 19:18; Mark 10:19; Luke 16:18; Luke 18:20; John 8:4; Romans 2:22; Romans 13:9; James 2:11; Rev. 2:22).
2.Fornication. Greek: porneia (GSN-4202), same as adultery above besides all manner of other unlawful relations (note Matthew 5:32).
3.Uncleanness. Greek: akatharsia (GSN-167), whatever is opposite of purity; including sodomy, homosexuality, lesbianism, pederasty, bestiality, and all other forms of sexual perversion (Galatians 5:19; Matthew 23:27; Romans 1:21-32; Romans 6:19; 2 Cor. 12:21; Ephes. 4:19; Ephes. 5:3; Col. 3:5; 1 Thes. 2:3; 1 Thes. 4:7; 2 Peter 2; Jude).
4.Lasciviousness. Greek: aselgeia (GSN-766), licentiousness, lustfulness, unchastity, and lewdness. Translated "lasciviousness" (Mark 7:22; 2 Cor. 12:21; Galatians 5:19; Ephes. 4:19; 1 Peter 4:3; Jude 1:4); "wantonness" (Romans 13:13; 2 Peter 2:18); and "filthy" (2 Peter 2:7). Lasciviousness is the promoting or partaking of that which tends to produce lewd emotions, anything tending to foster sex sin and lust. That is why many worldly pleasures have to be avoided by Christians—so that lasciviousness may not be committed.
5.Idolatry. Greek: eidololatreia (GSN-1495), image-worship (1 Cor. 10:14; Galatians 5:20; Col. 3:5; 1 Peter 4:3). Idolatry includes anything on which affections are passionately set; extravagant admiration of the heart (Ephes. 5:5; Col. 3:5).
6.Witchcraft. Greek: pharmakeia (GSN-5331), sorcery, practice of dealing with evil spirits; magical incantations and casting spells and charms upon one by means of drugs and potions of various kinds (Galatians 5:20; Rev. 9:21; Rev. 18:23; cp. Rev. 21:8; Rev. 22:15. See Luke 12:29). Enchantments were used to inflict evil, pains, hatred, sufferings, and death, or to bring good, health, love and other blessings.
7.Hatred. Greek: echthra (GSN-2189), enmity (Luke 23:12; Romans 8:7; Ephes. 2:15-16; James 4:4); hatred (Galatians 5:20). Bitter dislike, abhorrence, malice and ill will against anyone; tendency to hold grudges against or be angry at someone.
8.Variance. Greek: eris (GSN-2054), note Romans 1:29. Dissensions, discord, quarreling, debating; and disputes.
9.Emulations. Greek: zeloi (GSN-2205), envies,
jealousies; striving to excel at the expense of another; seeking to surpass and
out do others; uncurbed rivalry spirit in religion, business, society, and
other fields of endeavor. Translated "zeal"
(John 2:17; Romans 10:2; 2 Cor. 7:11; 2 Cor. 9:2; Phil. 3:6; Col. 4:13);
"fervent mind" (2 Cor. 7:7); "envy" (Acts 13:45; Romans
13:13; 1 Cor. 3:3; 2 Cor. 12:20; James 3:14-
15); "jealousy" (2 Cor. 11:2); "indignation" (Acts 5:17;
Hebrews 10:27); and "emulation" (Galatians 5:20).
10.Wrath. Greek: thumos (GSN-2372), "wrath" (Galatians 5:20; Luke 4:28; Acts 19:28; 2 Cor. 12:20; Ephes. 4:31; Col. 3:8; Hebrews 11:27; Rev. 12:12; Rev. 14:8,10,19; Rev. 15:1,7; Rev. 16:1; Rev. 18:3); "indignation" (Romans 2:8); and "fierceness" (Rev. 16:19; Rev. 19:15). Turbulent passions; domestic and civil turmoils; such as rage; determined and lasting anger.
11.Strife. Greek: eritheia (GSN-2052), "strife" (Galatians 5:20; 2 Cor. 12:20; Phil. 2:3; James 3:14,16); "contention" (Phil. 1:16; Romans 2:8). Disputations; jangling; strife about words; angry contentions; contest for superiority or advantage; strenuous endeavor to equal or pay back in kind the wrongs done to one.
12.Seditions. Greek: dichostasia (GSN-1370), "divisions" (Romans 16:17; 1 Cor. 3:3); "seditions, parties, and factions" (Galatians 5:20). Popular disorder; stirring up strife in religion, government, home, or any other place.
13.Heresies (notice, Acts 5:17).
14.Envyings. Greek: phthonoi (GSN-5355) (Galatians 5:21; Matthew 27:18; Mark 15:10; Romans 1:29; Phil. 1:15; 1 Tim. 6:4; Titus 3:3; James 4:5; 1 Peter 2:1) Pain, ill will, and jealousy at the good fortune or blessings of another; the most base of all degrading and disgraceful passions.
15.Murders. Greek: phonoi (GSN-5408) (note, Matthew 15:18) to kill; to spoil or mar the happiness of another; hatred (1 John 3:15).
16.Drunkeness. Greek: methai (GSN-3178) (Galatians 5:21; Luke 21:34; Romans 13:13). Living intoxicated; a slave to drink; drinking bouts.
17.Revellings. Greek: komoi (GSN-2970) (Galatians 5:21; 1 Peter 4:3); rioting (Romans 13:13). Lascivious and boisterous feastings, with obscene music, and other sinful activities; pleasures; carousings.
Four divisions of these sins:
1. 4 Sins of lust, nos. 1-4 (Galatians 5:19)
2. 2 sins of impiety and superstition, nos. 5-6 (Galatians 5:20)
3. 9 sins of temper, nos. 7-15 (Galatians 5:20-21)
4. 2 sins of appetite—eating and drinking, nos. 16-17 (Galatians 5:21)
Being set free!
John 8:36 If the Son therefore
shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
[If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed] If one is made free from sin by the Son, he is free indeed and is no longer a servant of sin (Romans 6:16-23; Romans 8:1-13; Galatians 5:16-26; Hebrews 12:14; 1 John 2:29; 1 John 3:6-10; 1 John 5:1-4, 18).
Sin has no force by itself!
(By itself, it is only a seductive (spirit)
idea or thought)
Sin has no force (power or authority) over the born again child of God against that child of God’s will. If or should that person sin, it is by their own choosing. Sin cannot be forced upon their soul without the persons’ consent or agreement to it! It is not a sin to be tempted, it becomes sin if you accept the sin, receive or partake of the sin.
For an example: if someone is sexually raped (molested) = (intercourse is forced upon the person or individual without their truthful and honest consent), the person which was raped or molested by another is NOT the one which sinned, UNLESS that person who was raped (molested) knowingly and truthfully yielded to the act, conceived or accepted the act.
Remember: Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. [2] And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. [4] But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
[5] Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, [6] And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. [7] Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
[8] Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding
high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of
them; [9] And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt
fall down and worship me. [10] Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou
shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
[11] Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. [12] Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
NOTICE: it is Not a sin to be tempted, it becomes sin if you accept the temptation! Jesus Christ the Son of God DID NOT accept any of the temptations. Jesus Christ rebuked the devil, therefore Christ remains without sin, therefore, it is NOT a sin to be tempted, it becomes sin IF you accept the temptation or approve of it or them (Job 1:22 (Satan is the one that did this to Job 1:6-9); Ephesians 4:26; 1st John 2:1)!
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Jesus The Christ
Voluntarily took OUR SINS upon Himself and they were nailed to the Cross for the remission of our sins and transgressions against God. Jesus The Christ voluntarily shed His blood (voluntarily stood in for me, stood in my place, voluntarily taking my punishment for me) that I might have forgiveness of my sins, that I might have life and it more abundantly! Very humbly stated, stating, Thank you Jesus!
Jesus Christ The Son of God did NOT remain on the Cross, He arose back to life again the third day, latter ascended unto Haven, while many witnesses saw Him go and heard the angels speak to the witnesses while Jesus was ascending into Heaven.
Jesus Christ spoke to the disciples
Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. [6] When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? [7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. [8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. [9] And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. [10] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; [11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
John the Revelator said!
Rev. 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
Jesus Christ our Lord is alive for
evermore, Alleluia!
Rev. 3:11 Behold, I come
quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. [12] Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my
God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God,
and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down
out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Are you ready to meet him?
Are you looking for His return!
