AUTHORITY OF THE MAN OF GOD – PART I
God gave the “MAN OF GOD,”
(God’s Anointed) God’s power and God’s authority, this lesson is what the “Word
of God” teaches us about what is WRITTEN and THUS SAITH THE LORD. Also about
God’s AUTHORITY that God HAS given His HOLY ANOINTED ONES (THE MAN OF GOD)!
We will explain “The MAN
OF GOD’S power,” authority, responsibility, and limitations! For all in all, we
are to glorify “GOD” and not MAN!
WE BEGIN
Deut. 33:1 And this
is the blessing, wherewith Moses THE MAN OF GOD blessed the children of
Israel before his death.
Accordingly, the “MAN OF
GOD” blesses, instructs, guides, leads, feeds (relays, proclaims The Oracle of
God), chastises, rules, edifies, encourages and rebukes those that God has laid
at “THE MAN OF GOD’S” charge (those that will follow the Man of God and
especially the children, redeemed and Saints of God). However, “THE MAN OF
GOD’S” power and authority is as God directs (so instructs) and is not limited
by any means.
The “MAN OF GOD” is
responsible and answerable only, to “Almighty God Himself” and He “THE MAN OF
GOD,” is answerable to no human being for any purpose or reason!
However, many throughout the world (including some churches), insist that they
have supreme authority over Almighty God.
Man can fight or combat
man (physically), but man cannot fight or combat the Holy Spirit of God and win
because God is a Spirit! Man, “in the flesh” just simply cannot fight or
combat “The Spirit of God.” John 4:24 (KJV) God is a Spirit:
and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Joshua 14:6 Then the
children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh
the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the Lord said unto Moses
the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadesh-barnea.
Judges 13:8 Then
Manoah intreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which
thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the
child that shall be born.
[The above Holy Scripture
shows that the MAN OF GOD is sent of God. It also shows, that the MAN OF GOD,
teaches the Saints of God what they shall do!]
1 Samuel 9:7 Then said
Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for
the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to
the man of God: what have we? [8] And the servant answered Saul again, and
said, Behold, I have here at hand the fourth part of a shekel of silver: that
will I give to the man of God, to tell us our way.
The above Holy Scripture,
shows that the children of God brought gifts and presents to the MAN OF GOD.
They presented those gifts to the MAN OF GOD showing their appreciation,
respect and honor to the representative of God. Those gifts sometimes were
offered to THE MAN OF GOD as a sacrifice to God’s representative, therefore
sacrificing unto God Himself, Honoring God. They were not purchases
or for exchange of favor(s) from God) because God cannot be bargained
with.
1 Samuel 9:10 Then
said Saul to his servant, Well said; come, let us go. So they went unto the
city where the man of God was.
[This Scripture shows us
that “THEY WENT” to the MAN OF GOD, the MAN OF GOD, did NOT come
to them!]
1 Kings 12:22 But
the “Word of God” came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
[This scripture shows that
the “Word of God” is given to THE MAN OF GOD!]
1 Kings 13:1 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Bethel: and Jeroboam
stood by the altar to burn incense. [2] And he cried against the altar in
the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord;
Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon
thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee,
and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee. [3] And he gave a sign the same day,
saying, This is the sign which the Lord hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall
be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out. [4] And it
came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth
against him, dried up, so that he
could not pull it in again to him. [5] The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the
sign which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord. [6] And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the Lord thy God, and
pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the Lord, and the king's hand was restored
him again, and became as it was before. [7] And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will
give thee a reward. [8] And the
man of God said unto the king,
If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in
with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:
[Notice, THE MAN OF GOD,
GOES WHERE GOD TELLS HIM TO GO AND THE MAN OF GOD SAYS WHAT GOD TELLS HIM TO
SAY. IF GOD DOES NOT TELL THE MAN OF GOD TO SAY ---IT---- THE MAN OF GOD DOES NOT
SAY---IT--- NOR DO IT. You will also notice that THE MAN OF GOD cannot be
bought nor seduced. Also notice that the King was like a lot of people of
today, (year 2003), he (the king) tried to reward THE MAN OF GOD, “after” God
spoke judgment upon him (the king). (It reminds me of someone in todays time,
saying “woow” that was a close call, It was no wonder that the king wanted to
keep this MAN OF GOD close bye him, especially when he THE MAN OF GOD
COULD DISPLAY THAT MUCH POWER).]
1 Kings 13:11 Now
there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all
the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words
which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. [12]
And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what
way the man of God went, which came from Judah.
1 Kings 13:14 And
went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he
said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he
said, I am.
1 Kings 13:21 And he
cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith
the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and
hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee,
[22] But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in
the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no
water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. [23]
And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he
saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.
[24] And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew
him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion
also stood by the carcase. [25] And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase
cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told
it in the city where the old prophet dwelt. [26] And when the prophet that
brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God,
who was disobedient unto the word of the Lord: therefore the Lord hath
delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to
the word of the Lord, which he spake unto him.
{Interjection; this should
be a lesson not to play with the things of God, because Almighty God does NOT
play games with peoples souls. This includes THE MAN OF GOD, because God is
very serious and to be feared!}
ELISHA AND THE SHUNAMMITE WOMAN
2 Kings 4:1 Now
there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets
unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest
that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto
him my two sons to be bondmen. [2] And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do
for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid
hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. [3] Then he said, Go,
borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not
a few. [4] And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee
and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt
set aside that which is full. [5] So she went from him, and shut
the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she
poured out. [6] And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she
said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a
vessel more. And the oil stayed. [7] Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt,
and live thou and thy children of the rest.
A GREAT WOMAN CONSTRAINED THE HOLY MAN OF GOD
TO EAT BREAD
2 Kings 4:8 And it
fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she
constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he
turned in thither to eat bread. [9] And she said unto her husband, Behold now,
I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually.
[10] Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for
him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be,
when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. [11] And it fell on a day,
that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there. [12] And
he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called
her, she stood before him. [13] And he said unto him, Say now
unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to
be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of
the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. [14] And he
said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she
hath no child, and her husband is old. [15] And he said, Call her. And when
he had called her, she stood in the door. [16] And he said, About this
season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said,
Nay, my lord, THOU MAN OF GOD, do not lie unto thine handmaid. [17] And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season
that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.
BECAUSE THE SHUNAMMITE WOMAN ACCUSED ELISHA OF LYING
2 kings 4:18 And
when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to
the reapers. [19] And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to
a lad, Carry him to his mother. [20] And when he had taken him, and brought him
to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. [21] And she
went up, and laid him on the bed of THE MAN OF GOD, and shut the door upon him,
and went out. [22] And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I
pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the
man of God, and come again. [23] And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him
to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. [24] Then she saddled an ass, and said
to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I
bid thee. [25] So she went and came unto THE MAN OF GOD to mount Carmel.
And it came to pass, when THE MAN OF GOD saw her afar off, that he said
to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: [26] Run now,
I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is
it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well. [27] And when she came to THE MAN OF GOD to the
hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her
away. And THE MAN OF GOD said, Let her alone; for her soul is
vexed within her: and the Lord hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.
[28] Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do
not deceive me? [29] Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my
staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and
if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the
child. [30] And the mother of the child said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not
leave thee. And he arose, and followed her. [31] And Gehazi passed on before them,
and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice,
nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The
child is not awaked. [32] And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the
child was dead, and laid upon his bed. [33] He went in therefore, and shut
the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the Lord. [34] And he went
up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon
his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the
child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm. [35] Then he returned, and
walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and
the child sneezed seven times,
and the child opened his eyes.
[36] And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite.
So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy
son. [37] Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the
ground, and took up her son, and went out.
THERE WAS A DEARTH IN THE LAND AND DEATH IN THE POT
2 Kings 4:38 And
Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the
sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set
on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. [39] And
one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and
gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot
of pottage: for they knew them not. [40] So they poured out for the men to
eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried
out, and said, O THOU MAN OF GOD, there is death in the pot. And
they could not eat thereof. [41] But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast
it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.
THEY BROUGHT THE MAN OF GOD BREAD OF
THE FIRSTFRUITS (OFFERINGS)
[42] And there came
a man from Baal-shalisha, and brought THE MAN OF GOD bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the
husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat. [43] And
his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said
again, Give the people, that they may eat: FOR THUS SAITH THE LORD, They
shall eat, and shall leave thereof. [44] So he set it before them, and
they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the Lord.
THE KING OF ISRAEL SAID
“Am I God, to kill and to make alive?”
2 Kings 5:2 And the
Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land
of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife. [3] And she said unto
her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria!
for he would recover him of his leprosy. [4] And one went in, and told his
lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel. [5]
And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king
of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six
thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment. [6] And he brought the
letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee,
behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest
recover him of his leprosy. [7] And it came to pass, when the king of
Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to
kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his
leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel
against me.
Elisha sent a messenger unto NAAMAN, saying, Go and
wash in the Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and
thou shalt be clean.
[8] And it was so, WHEN
ELISHA THE MAN OF GOD had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes,
that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let
him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
[9] So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door
of the house of Elisha. [10] And Elisha
sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and
thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.
[11] But Naaman
was wroth, and went away, and
said, Behold, I thought, He
will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God,
and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. [12] Are
not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of
Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a
rage. [13] And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My
father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have
done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? [14] Then
went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying
of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little
child, and he was clean.
2 Kings 5:15
(KJV) And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and
came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no
God in all earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a
blessing of thy servant. [16] But he said, As the Lord liveth, before whom I
stand, I will receive none. And he urged him to take it; but he refused. [17] And Naaman said, Shall there not then, I pray
thee, be given to thy servant two mules' burden of earth? for thy servant will
henceforth offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice unto other gods, but
unto the Lord. [18] In this thing the Lord pardon thy servant, that
when my master goeth into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leaneth
on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon: when I bow down myself in
the house of Rimmon, the Lord pardon thy servant in this thing.
THE IRON DID SWIM
2 Kings 6:1 And the
sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell
with thee is too strait for us. [2] Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and
take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may
dwell. And he answered, Go ye. [3] And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and
go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. [4] So he went with them. And
when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. [5] But as one was
felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas,
master! for it was borrowed. [6] And THE MAN OF GOD said, Where fell it?
And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither;
and the iron did swim. [7] Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he
put out his hand, and took it.
[8] Then the king of Syria
warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and
such a place shall be my camp. [9] And THE MAN OF GOD sent unto the king
of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the
Syrians are come down. [10] And the king of Israel sent to the place which THE
MAN OF GOD told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once
nor twice.
Seven Men Were Called "The Man of God":
1. Moses (Deut. 33:1)
2. Samuel (1 Samuel 9:6-10)
3. David (Neh. 12:24)
4. Elijah (1 Kings 17:18)
5. Elisha (2 Kings 4:7)
6. Shemaiah (2 Chron. 11:2)
7. Igdaliah (Jeremiah 35:4)
Also there were four unnamed men of God (1 Samuel
2:27; 1 Kings 13:1; 1 Kings 20:28; 2 Chron. 25:7).
Hebrew: Adonay, the
Lord in relation to the earth; the Sovereign Lord
WE HAVE STUDIED ABOUT THE
AUTHORITIES, MIRACLES AND THE POWER
OF “THE MAN OF GOD” IN THE
OLD TESTAMENT AND TORAH, BUT ARE THERE ANY LAST DAY, MODERN DAY MEN OF GOD, NOT
ONLY IN THE NEW TESTAMENT BUT IN THE WORLD TODAY (TRUE HOLY MEN OF ALMIGHTY
GOD) THAT HAVE THE SAME POWER, AUTHORITY OF ALMIGHTY GOD AS THEY DID IN THE OLD
TESTAMENT?
THAT ANSWER IS EXCITEDLY, “YES!”
Psalm 90:1 A
Prayer of Moses THE MAN OF GOD. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in
all generations.
2 Tim. 3:17
That THE MAN OF GOD may be perfect, thoroughly furnished
unto all good works.
“THE MAN OF GOD”
IN THE NEW TESTAMENT
In year 2000, I heard a minister
(pastor of a church), whom is also known as a District Presbyter of a leading
denominational organization say, “there are no true prophets of God anymore!”
So, I will ask you, is there?
THE LAST DAY, MAN OF GOD!
The TRUE MAN OF GOD
blesses children (Deut. 18:15-22, 33:1)!
Also, THE HOLY GOD OF
HEAVEN reveals and tells The TRUE MAN OF GOD what to say, and when to say it.
Then, The TRUE MAN OF GOD Obeys The Lord God of Heaven by Performing, Declaring
or Proclaiming exactly that which THE HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN has commanded or has
instructed Him to have been done, said, stated or proclaimed. Whereas, that
which was Done, Declared or Proclaimed as so spoken by The TRUE MAN OF GOD
“will” come to pass, happen or take place exactly as was so acted upon, Stated,
Proclaimed and Declared by The TRUE MAN OF GOD! Otherwise, that man is NOT a
man of God!
Also, The TRUE MAN OF GOD;
Judges 13:6 Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of
God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of
God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he
me his name:
Also, The TRUE MAN OF GOD;
Judges 13:8 Then Manoah intreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the
man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us
what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
Also, The TRUE MAN OF GOD;
1 Samuel 9:6-8 And he said unto him, Behold now, there is in this city a
man of God, and he is an honourable man; all that he saith cometh
surely to pass: now let us go thither; peradventure he can shew us our way
that we should go. [7] Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go,
what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there
is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we? [8] And the servant
answered Saul again, and said, Behold, I have here at hand the fourth part of a
shekel of silver: that will I give to the man of God, to tell us our way.
[this city] If this was the city where Samuel lived it was Ramah (1 Samuel 1:19; 1 Samuel 7:17).
[a man of God, and he is an honourable man;
all that he saith cometh surely to pass]
Threefold description of Samuel:
1. A man of God
2. An honorable man
3. All that he says comes to
pass
The True Man of God
God always has His man when
one is needed to go on some special mission for Him. He can and does move in
every crisis of human history to warn, rebuke, judge, and otherwise intervene
in the affairs of men. Moses was the first to be called "man of
God" (Deut. 33:1; Psalm 90). It was a term among the common people
for a prophet who was a spokesman for God (Exodus 4:16; Exodus 7:1). The
term is found 78 times in Scripture.
Six Qualifications of a
Man of God:
1. Know Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:15-17)
2. Be perfect (2 Tim. 3:17)
3. Be throughly furnished unto all good
works (2 Tim. 3:17)
4. Inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Tim.
3:16-17; Neh. 9:30; Numbers 11:16-29)
5. God making Himself known to him
(Numbers 12:6; Ezekiel 3:17; Jeremiah 15:19)
6. Qualified to act in God's stead as if
God Himself were acting. In fact, on some occasions, God Himself was
called "man of God" (Judges 13:6, 8-22)
Twelve Persons Called
"Man of God":

2. God (Judges 13:6, 8-22)
3. An unknown prophet (1 Samuel 2:27)
4. Samuel (1 Samuel 9:6-10)
5. Shemaiah (1 Kings 12:22; 2 Chron. 11:2)
6. An unknown prophet ( 1 Kings 13:1-31; 2
Kings 23:16-17)
7. Elijah (1 Kings 17:18,24; 2 Kings
1:9-13)
8. An unknown prophet (1 Kings 20:28)
9. Elisha (2 Kings 4:7-9,16,21-27,40-42; 2
Kings 5:8,14-20; 2 Kings 6:6-15; 2 Kings 7:2,17-19; 2 Kings 8:2-11; 2 Kings
13:19)
10. David (2 Chron. 8:14; Neh. 12:24,36)
11. An unknown prophet (2 Chron. 25:7-9)
12. Igdaliah (Jeremiah 35:4)
[Thus saith the LORD ...] The 2nd prophecy in 1 Samuel (1 Samuel 2:27-36,
fulfilled, 1 Samuel 4:1-22; 1 Kings 2:27, except 1 Samuel 2:35, which was
partially fulfilled in Zadok, 1 Kings 2:26-27, and will be completely fulfilled
in the Millennium and forever, Ezekiel 44:9-31). 1 Samuel 3:11.
Seven Predictions About Eli
1. Your house and your father's house to
be cut off so there will not be an old man in them forever (1 Samuel 2:31-34).
His sons died in early life (1 Samuel 4:11).
2. You will see an enemy in My habitation
and in all the prosperity which God would have given Israel (1 Samuel 2:32).
This was fulfilled in the taking of Shiloh, the tabernacle, and the ark by the
Philistines (1 Samuel 4:1-22).
3. Those whom I do not cut off from your
house shall be worse off, for they shall beg for bread from their successors in
office (1 Samuel 2:33, 36).
4. This shall be a sign to you: Your
two sons shall both die in one day (1 Samuel 2:34). Fulfilled, 1 Samuel 4:11.
5. I will raise up a faithful priest, that
shall do according to that which is in My heart and mind (1 Samuel 2:35).
6. I will build him a sure house (1 Samuel
2:36).
7. He shall walk before My anointed (My
Messiah, the Christ) forever (1 Samuel 2:36). All three of these last
statements were partially fulfilled in Solomon's reign (1 Kings 2:26-27), but
will be eternally fulfilled under the Messiah in the Millennium and the New
Earth periods (Ezekiel 44:9-31).
Judges 13:1-14:18
And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord; and the
Lord delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years. [2] And there
was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah;
and his wife was barren, and bare not.
[3] And the angel of
the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art
barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. [4] Now
therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not
any unclean thing: [5] For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no
razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from
the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.
[6] Then the woman came
and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his
countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but
I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name: [7] But he said unto
me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor
strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite
to God from the womb to the day of his death. [8] Then Manoah intreated the
Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again
unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. [9]
And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came
again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah her husband was not
with her. [10] And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and
said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the
other day. [11] And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man,
and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I
am. [12] And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we
order the child, and how shall we do unto him? [13] And the angel of the Lord
said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware. [14]
She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink
wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let
her observe. [15] And Manoah said unto the angel of the Lord, I pray thee, let
us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee.
[16] And the angel of
the Lord said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy
bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the
Lord. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the Lord. [17] And
Manoah said unto the angel of the Lord, What is thy name, that when thy
sayings come to pass we may do thee honour? [18] And the angel of the Lord said
unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?
[19] So Manoah took a kid
with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the Lord: and the angel
did wonderously; and Manoah and his wife looked on. [20] For it came to pass,
when the flame went up toward
heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of
the altar. And Manoah and his
wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground. [21] But the angel of
the Lord did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he
was an angel of the Lord. [22] And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall
surely die, because we have seen God.
[23] But his wife said
unto him, If the Lord were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a
burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed
us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as
these.
[24] And the woman bare
a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the Lord blessed
him. [25] And the Spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the
camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol. [14:1] And Samson went down to Timnath,
and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines. [2] And he came
up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in
Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to
wife. [3] Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman
among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to
take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said
unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well. [4] But his father
and his mother knew not that it was of the Lord, that he sought an occasion
against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over
Israel.
[5] Then went Samson down,
and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of
Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him. [6] And the Spirit of
the Lord came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a
kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his
mother what he had done. [7] And he went down, and talked with the woman; and
she pleased Samson well. [8] And after a time he returned to take her, and he
turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of
bees and honey in the carcase of the lion. [9] And he took thereof in his
hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them,
and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the
carcase of the lion.
[10] So his father went
down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men
to do. [11] And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty
companions to be with him. [12] And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth
a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of
the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change
of garments: [13] But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty
sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy
riddle, that we may hear it. [14] And he said unto them, Out of the eater came
forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not
in three days expound the riddle.
15] And it came to pass on
the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband,
that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's
house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so? [16]
And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest
me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast
not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor
my mother, and shall I tell it thee? [17] And she wept before him the seven
days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he
told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the
children of her people. [18] And the men of the city said unto him on the
seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? and what is
stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my
heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.

[Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended?
who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a

Ten Facts about God
1. He can ascend to heaven (Proverbs 30:4;
Genesis 18:33; cp. Genesis 28:12; John 3:13; Deut. 30:11-12; Romans 10:6-7).
2. He can descend from heaven (Proverbs
30:4; Zech. 14:5; Titus 2:13; Jude 1:14; Rev. 21:2,10).
3. He controls the wind (Proverbs 30:4;
Eccles. 1:6; Matthew 8:27; Psalm 19:1-6).
4. He controls the waters (Proverbs 30:4;
Job 26:8; Psalm 104:6-9; Proverbs 8:28).
5. He established the land out of the
waters (Proverbs 30:4; Genesis 1:9-10; Jeremiah 5:22; Job 38:4-11; Psalm
102:25).
6. He has a name (Proverbs 30:4; Genesis
1:1; Exodus 3:13-15; Exodus 6:3; Exodus 34:14; Psalm 68:4; Isaiah 57:15).
7. He has a Son (Psalm 2:7; Isaiah 9:6-7;
Matthew 1:21; John 3:16; etc.).
8. His every word is pure (Proverbs 30:5;
Psalm 19:7; 2 Tim. 3:16-17).
9. He is a protector of all who put their
trust in Him (Proverbs 30:5; Psalm 91).
10. He will not tolerate additions or deletions to His
Word (Proverbs 30:6; Deut. 4:2; Deut. 12:32; Rev. 22:18-19).
Acts 1:8-11 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come
upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
[9] And when he had spoken
these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received
him out of their sight. [10] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as
he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; [11] Which also
said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into
heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come
in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down
from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
[ascended up] Greek: anabaino
(GSN-305), to go up of own power, not taken up as was Enoch (Genesis 5:24;
Hebrews 11:5), Elijah (2 Kings 2:11), Paul (2 Cor. 12:1-3), and John (Rev.
4:1). This refers to the ascension of Christ (John 3:13; John 6:62; Acts
1:11; Luke 24:51; Ephes. 4:8-10). Christ ascended and came back before
His final ascension to heaven to stay (John 20:17).
[is in heaven] This verse proves that Jesus had already ascended
when John wrote this book; that the conversation with Nicodemus ended with John
3:12; and that Jesus was now in heaven.

As Powerful and
Possessing The Holy Authority of God as the Old Holy Prophets of Almighty God
did, they still could NOT DIE ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS
And destroy all of the
works of the devil (Satan, Lucifer, that old serpent, the dragon, the god of
this world).
WHAT THE HOLY PROPHETS
OF GOD DID NOT DO, JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF ALMIGHTY GOD CAME TO DO HIMSELF AND
PAID THE SUPREME SACRIFICE (LAMB OF GOD WITH OUT SPOT OR WRINKLE), FOR THE
REMISSION OF SINS AND WHEN CHRIST ASCENDED UP UNTO HEAVEN, HE SENT BACK THE
HOLY GHOST TO INDWELL WITHIN EVERY BORN AGAIN BELIEVER IN JESUS CHRIST.
WHEREAS, THE (BORN
AGAIN UNTO JESUS CHRIST) WILL DO EVEN MORE AND EVEN GREATER THINGS THEN JESUS
CHRIST DONE BECAUSE JESUS ASCENDED UNTO THE FATHER AND SENT BACK THE HOLY GHOST
TO INFILL EVERY BORN AGAIN BELIEVER WITH THE HOLY GHOST AND THE POWER OF GOD
AND THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST FROM ON HIGH (John 14:12)
Jesus Christ (The Holy Begotten Angel of God) did!
The Only Begotten Son of The Living God of Heaven came to earth to
destroy the works of the devil!
1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the
devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of
God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
[destroy] Greek: luo (GSN-3089), to undo; loosen; release; set free; do
away with (2 Peter 3:10).
[works of the devil]
Twenty-five Works of the Devil
1. Sin—rebellion (Genesis 3:2 Cor. 11:3)
2. Works of darkness, including moral sedition and sex
perversion (Ephes. 5:11; Ephes. 6:12; Acts 16:18; Romans 1)
3. Works of wickedness (Col. 1:21)
4. Spiritual blindness (2 Cor. 4:4)
5. Stealing the Word of God (Matthew 13:19)
6. Deceptions and false religions (2 Cor. 11:14; 1
Tim. 4; Rev. 12:9)
7. To kill and destroy (John 10:10)
8. Sowing tares, tempting, and sifting saints (Matthew
4:3; Matthew 13:25; Luke 22:31)
9. Promoting counterfeit worship and miracles (2 Thes.
2:8-12; 1 Cor. 10:20)
10. Causing storms (Job 1:18-19; Ephes. 2:2)
11. Ruling nations (Matthew 4:8-9; Daniel 10)
12. Executing death (Hebrews 2:14-15)
13. Accusing the brethren (Rev. 12:10)
14. Hindering prayers (Daniel 10:12-21)
15. Opposing the gospel (Ephes. 6:1-18)
16. Supervising demons (John 12:31), fallen angels
(Rev. 12:7-12), and fallen man (Ephes. 2:2; 1 John 3:8; John 8:44)
17. Causing sickness and disease (Matthew 4:23-24;
Matthew 9:32-33; Matthew 15:22; Acts 10:38)
18. Causing infirmities (Matthew 8:17; Luke 13:16;
John 10:10; Acts 10:38)
19. Causing lunacy and mania (Matthew 4:23-24; Matthew
17:14-21; Mark 5:1-18)
20. Urging suicides (Matthew 17:15; John 10:10)
21. Agitating lusts (John 8:44; Ephes. 2:1-3)
22. Lying and false prophecy (1 Kings 22; Matthew
24:11, 24; 2 Cor. 11:13-15)
23. Propagating false doctrines (1 Tim. 4; 2 Tim. 4; 2
Thes. 2; Rev. 13)
24. Oppressing men (Acts 10:38)
25. Persecuting Christians and warring on saints
(Ephes. 6:10-18; 1 Peter 5:8-9).
Christ died to destroy and
cancel all these works of the devil for believers in this age, and to give
complete mastery over them (Col. 2:14-17; 1 Peter 2:24; Luke 10:19; John 14:12;
Mark 16:17-18). The only works listed above that will not be put down in this
age are: all sin and rebellion among men; Satan's rule of the nations;
the reign of death; and continued opposition of Satan to saints. These will be
done away in the Millennium (Ephes. 1:10; 1 Cor. 15:24-28; Rev. 21:1-8; Rev.
22:3).
Where Jesus Christ came from!
Hebrews 1:1-14 God, who at sundry times and in
divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [2]
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath
appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; [3] Who being
the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged
our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; [4]
Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance
obtained a more excellent name than they. [5] For unto which of the
angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten
thee? And again, I will be
to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? [6] And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten
into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. [7]
And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his
ministers a flame of fire. [8] But unto the Son he saith,
Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of
righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. [9] Thou hast loved
righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God,
hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. [10] And,
Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the
heavens are the works of thine hands: [11] They shall perish; but
thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; [12] And
as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but
thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. [13] But to
which of the angels said he at any times, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine
enemies thy footstool? [14] Are they not all ministering
spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
Jesus Christ is gone into heaven, and is on the right
hand of God!
1 Peter 3:22 Who is
gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities
and powers being made subject unto him.
[God] This is God the Father, the head of Christ and the Holy Spirit (1 Cor.
8:6; 1 Cor. 11:3; Matthew 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14; Ephes. 4:4-6; 1 John 5:7).
[sundry times and in divers manners] In many parts in many ways (Isaiah 28:10). From
all these portions we get a perfect harmony, as in musical sounds made up of
different parts. There is only one plan of God for man. All the
prophets gave perfect and harmonious testimony that Jesus Christ was the Son of
God and Savior of the world (Acts 10:43).
[in time past] Greek: palai
(GSN-3819), of old. Here; Matthew 11:21; Mark 15:44; Luke 10:13; 2 Peter
1:9; Jude 1:4.
[by]
Greek: en (GSN-1722), in the prophets. In whom the Spirit of
God is and He spoke through them in the same manner He dwells in men today.
(Exod. 31:3, 35:31; Num.24:2; 1 Sam. 10:10; 19:20, 19:23). That men in
Old Testament days had the Holy Spirit of God is clear.
Christ Better than Prophets
1. Creator of prophets (Hebrews 1:1-3)
2. Lord and Master of prophets (Hebrews 1:1-2; Matthew
22:41-46; 1 Peter 1:10-13)
3. Only begotten Son of God (Hebrews 1:1-3; John 1:18;
John 3:16-20)
4. God manifest in flesh (John 1:14)
5. Sinless (1 Peter 2:21-22)
6. Had greater anointing (John 3:34)
7. Fulfillment of their writings (Luke 24:25,44-45; 1
Peter 1:10-13)
8. Heir of all things (Hebrews 1:2)
9. Planner of the ages (Hebrews 1:2)
10. Brightness of God's glory (Hebrews 1:3)
11. Express image of God's person (Hebrews 1:3; Phil.
2:5-11)
12. Upholder of all things (Hebrews 1:3)
13. God's perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 1:3, 9; Hebrews
9:11-28; Hebrews 10:1-18)
14. Savior of prophets (Hebrews 1:3; Hebrews 7:25; 1
Peter 1:10-13)
15. Exalted higher than prophets (Hebrews 1:3; 1 Peter
3:22)
“God” has “NOT” changed!
Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not;
therefore ye sons of Jacob (Israel) are not consumed.
I Change Not
This could only refer to basic
character and to keeping covenant, not to acts of judgment or mercy when
needed. God has repented or changed His mind when it became necessary because
of free moral agents rebelling to the point of judgment, and this was in
keeping with His character. He is absolute in holiness and justice, and
is morally and divinely obligated for the good of all to judge the few or all,
if need be—or to show mercy to one and all should they meet the conditions of
mercy. God does not and cannot change His original and eternal plan and
purpose, but He can and does change some ways and means of fulfilling His Holy
and eternal plan.
The Same Jehovah of the
Old Testament is the Same One of the New!
He is that He is and He
always will be!
Sha’ma’ = Hear O Israel,
our Lord and God He is One!
I Change Not
Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The
Lord our God is one Lord: {Jesus Christ, The “Son” of God is the One who
quoted this verse}
[Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one
Lord] Quoted from Deut. 6:2-4.
The Hebrew for "one" is echad
(HSN-259), from achad (HSN-258), to unite, be united as one, one in
number. The Greek: heis (GSN-1520)
also has the same meaning. Whether one in number or one
in unity is meant must be determined by Scripture and by the subject
matter. These words are used in the sense of unity is clear from Genesis
2:24; Genesis 11:6; John 10:30; John 11:52; John 17:11, 21-23. There are
three separate persons called God and Lord in The Holy Scripture(s), so They
are One in Unity of Agreement and that is the meaning here. On the other
hand, one could refer to The Head Person of the Divine Three, Almighty God The
Father and The Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 8:4-6; 1 Cor. 11:3;
John 14:16-17, 26, 28; John 15:26; John 16:7-15; Ephes. 4:4-6; 1 John
5:7). Both ideas are true, but Only One Head of Family, as the man is the
Head of the Wife whereas both become AS ONE or All become as One Family!
Mark 13:32 But of that
day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven,
neither the Son, but the Father.
[But of that day and that hour knoweth no
man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the son, but the Father] This verse proves that Christ was limited in knowledge
while in the days of His flesh (Matthew 24:36; Luke 2:40, 52; §Phil. 2:7, notes)
The "Kenosis" of Christ
Greek: kenoo (GSN-2758), to empty out, drain. It is
translated "make void" (Romans 4:14; 1 Cor. 9:15); "make of none
effect" (1 Cor. 1:17); "be in vain" (2 Cor. 9:3); and "make
of no reputation" (i.e., He emptied Himself; Phil. 2:7).
Of what did Christ empty
Himself?
It could not have been His
divine nature, for He was God not only from all eternity (Micah 5:1-2; John
1:1-2; Hebrews 1:8; Rev. 1:8-11), but God manifest in flesh during His life on
earth (Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1-2,14; 1 Tim. 3:16).
Christ emptied Himself of:
1. Equality with God (Phil. 2:6-7; John 14:28; 1 Cor.
11:3)
2. God-form or God-body, the spirit body that He lived
in from eternity, to take human-form (Phil. 2:6-8; Phil. 3:21; Matthew 1:18-25;
Luke 1:35; John 1:14; Luke 24:37-40; Zech. 13:6; Galatians 4:4; Romans 8:3)
3. Immortality of body (1 Cor. 15:3; Psalm 16:10; 1
Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 3:18)
4. The glory that He had with the Father before the
world was (John 12:23; John 17:5; Matthew 16:27; Phil. 2:5-11)
5. His authority in heaven and in earth, which was
given back to Him after the resurrection (Matthew 28:18; Phil. 2:9-11; Ephes.
1:20-23; 1 Peter 3:22)
6. His divine attributes and outward powers that He
had with the Father from eternity. He had no power to do miracles until He
received the Holy Spirit in all fullness (John 2:11; John 3:34; Isaiah 11:1-2;
Isaiah 42:1-7; Isaiah 61:1-2; Luke 3:21-22; Luke 4:16-21; Matthew 12:28; Acts
10:38). He could do nothing of Himself in all His earthly life. He attributed
all His works, doctrines, powers, etc. to the Father through the anointing of
the Holy Spirit (note, §John 8:28). This is
proved by the following facts in Scripture:
(1) He was limited to the status of a man (Phil.
2:6-8; Hebrews 2:14-18; Hebrews 5:8-9).
(2) He was God's agent using God's power of attorney
(note, John 8:28; Acts 10:38).
(3) He was our example that we should walk in His
steps (1 Peter 2:21).
(4) The temptations prove that He was limited as a man
so that He could overcome as a man and not as God (Hebrews 4:14-16; Hebrews
5:7-9).
(5) Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14-16) speaks of the Messiah
being born without knowledge enough to know to refuse the evil and choose the
good.
(6) Isaiah (Isaiah 11:2; Isaiah 53:1-12) speaks of the
Messiah being limited as an ordinary baby, showing that God would give Him the
spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear of the
Lord. If He had these attributes as God from all eternity and did not lay
them aside in becoming man when was this ever true of Him?
(7) Isaiah (Isaiah 50:4-11) predicted that the Messiah
would be born without the tongue of the learned, without knowing how to speak a
word in season to help any soul, and that He would be wakened day by day to
increase in knowledge and wisdom.
(8) Isaiah (Isaiah 42:1-7; Isaiah 61:12-2) speaks of
Messiah receiving His power to manifest divine acts by the anointing of the
Holy Spirit and not by retaining His own former natural attributes and powers.
Is it necessary for God to be anointed with the Holy Spirit to do what He is
naturally capable of doing? If it became necessary to anoint Jesus during
His earthly life, then it proves He did not retain His former glory and
attributes which He had from all eternity when He emptied Himself to become
like men in all things (Phil. 2:6-8; Hebrews 2:14-18; Hebrews 5:8-9).
(9) History records that Christ was limited as a baby
and grew in body, soul, and spirit (mind, 1 Cor. 2:11), grace, wisdom, stature,
and favor with God and man (Luke 2:40, 52). Even after His manhood, His full
anointing and gifts of the Spirit, He was still limited in knowledge (Mark
13:32). He even learned
obedience by the things He suffered (Hebrews 4:14-16; Hebrews 5:7-9).
(10) He did not claim the attributes of God, but only
the anointing of the Spirit to do His works (note, §John 8:28; Matthew 12:28; Luke 4:16-21). Others stated
this was the source of His power (John 3:34; Acts 10:38). Most scriptures used
in theological texts proving that Christ had divine attributes on earth are
statements true of Him since His glory has been restored and do not prove
anything during
His life on earth. All scriptures related to His earthly life can be explained
as referring to the exercise of the gifts of the Spirit and not natural
attributes.
(11) The fact that Christ promised all believers power
to do the works He did proves that it was through the anointing of the Spirit,
not by His deity and natural attributes, that He did His works (Matthew
10:1-20; Matthew 16:18; Matthew 18:18; Luke 10; Luke 24:49; Mark 16:15-20; John
14:12-15; Acts 1:4-8).
(12) His exaltation to original glory and the highest
place under God the Father is proof of His lowest humiliation and earthly
limitation short of being God by nature (Phil. 2:9-11; Ephes. 1:20-23; Col.
1:15-23; Col. 1:15-23; 1 Peter 3:22)
