Believe The Record - Part I

For God’s Record is true: 1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. [12] He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

Eternal life in Jesus Christ is the great truth of which the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, the water, and the blood bear testimony (1 John 5:11-12).

[this life is in his Son]

Eternal life is only in Jesus The Christ. All who are in Him have this eternal life and all out (away from, is in apostate state, apostate condition) of Him do not have it or Him (Eternal life).

Twenty Blessings in Jesus Christ:

Two reasons for writing:

1. That you may have eternal life.

2. That you may believe on Jesus.

To be saved one must keep His commandments; not merely start keeping them, but continue in keeping them. If the condition is to keep them, then upon this basis only will God bless and save people (Romans 1:5; James 1:22-25; 1 Peter 1:2).

New Testament Commands

There are 1,050 commands in the New Testament for Christians to obey. Due to repetitions we can classify them under about 800 headings. They cover every phase of man's life in his relationship to God and his fellowmen, now and hereafter. If obeyed, they will bring rich rewards here and forever; if disobeyed, they will bring condemnation and eternal punishment. They are not to be confused with the 10 commandments With some specified exceptions and under the so specified conditions (notice Acts 15:24); see Eighty-five Old and New Covenant Contrasts). They are divided below under their various headings.

Seven "Abstains"—Abstain From:

1. Idols (Acts 15:20)

2. Fornication (Acts 15:20,29; 1 Thes. 4:2-3)

3. Strangled meats (Acts 15:20)

Many commentators seem to have missed the full and simple truth about the law. They emphasize that it was not the moral law that was claimed abolished, but the ceremonial law. The truth is, the entire law was never abolished but remains conditional, because of the (Holy) Hebrew (Jewish) Temples being destroyed from time to time and because Jesus Christ The Son of God became The Vail (Heb. 10:20) upon His Resurrection and ascending unto The Heavenly Father and sitting at the right side of Power.

Ten Reasons Fourth Commandment

1. Neither God nor Christ made it a part of the new covenant. If they had it would be somewhere in the New Testament as the other nine are.

2. Of all the words of Jesus on earth only four references are made of the sabbath (Matthew 12:8; Matthew 24:20; Mark 2:27-28; Luke 6:5). He merely taught that it was lawful to do good on this day and that no day is lord of man. He did not once command any particular observance of any definite day.

3. The old Jews Sabbath was part of the contract between God and Israel and a token or sign of that covenant (Exodus 20:8-11; Exodus 31:13-18; Ezekiel 20:12-20). The Commandments (as such) was not made with men before Moses, (but Covenants were as with Abraham), because the Commandments (Law) were not given until God gave them to Moses (Deut. 5:2-3), or with Gentiles and the church (Romans 2:14; Deut. 4:7-10). The Sabbath (Seventh day) was still to be remembered, honored and kept.

4. The fourth Commandment was one of the ten that was ceremonial unto the Hebrew (Jew). One of its purposes was to commemorate the deliverance from Egyptian bondage when Israel had no rest (Deut. 5:15). It was a type of future and eternal rest (Col. 2:14-17; Hebrews 4:1-11; Hebrews 10:1). It was the reality of rest to come of which it was a shadow (Matthew 11:28-29; Col. 2:14-17). The physical and spiritual benefits of a rest day can be realized on any other day as well.

5. The fourth commandment was one that could be done away with and still leave a moral law for men. God foretold and promised He would do away with the old Jewish Sabbath (Hosea 2:11; Isaiah 1:10-15).

7. The prophets predicted that God would abolish the old and make a new covenant (Isaiah 42:6; Isaiah 49:8; Isaiah 59:21; Jeremiah 31:13-40; Jeremiah 32:37-44; Ezekiel 36:24-38). That is referred to in the New Testament is clear in Romans 11:25-29; Hebrews 8:8-12; Hebrews 10:16-18; Matthew 26:28.

8. In Luke 1:72 it stated to remember His Holy Covenant and that men should keep God’s Covenant with man and to commemorate it for it commemorates deliverance from Egypt (Deut. 5:15) and the fact that God created The Sabbath for a day of rest, for God rested the Seventh day from HIS Work and All both Jews and gentiles were to remember it and keep it Holy (Genesis 20:8-11).

9. It is a commandment the same as the others, which was and has been broken numerous of times and still had to be repented of. Israel marched on that day (Numbers 33:3; Leviticus 23:5-11; Joshua 6:12-16); set up the tabernacle (Exodus 40:1, 17 with Leviticus 23:5-11); searched Canaan (Numbers 13:25); and made war (1 Kings 20:29; 2 Kings 3:9; Joshua 6:12-16). David and others broke it and were blameless (Matthew 12:2-5; Mark 2:27, 28; Luke 6:5, 13:15; Isaiah 1:13; Lamentations 1:7; 2:26; Matthew 28:1; John 5:18).

10. The New Testament permits Christians to keep any day as the Sabbath, it being one of the things not covered by commandment in the new covenant (Romans 14:1-13; Galatians 4:9-11; Col. 2:14-17). The day early Christians observed—not by commandment but by choice—the Catholic Church (by order of the Pope) changed the day of their worship from the Jewish (Hebrew) Sabbath (Sundown Friday evening till Sundown Saturday evening) to the first day of the week calling it Sunday (in which The Catholic Church worships the sun and the moon gods (Mithra (Lucifer) otherwise spelled Mythria 1^st Corinthians 8:5; Rev. 20:2; 13:2, 11; 16:13) whereas many other church organizations soon followed the practice , with some worshipping The Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (John 20:1,19; John 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:2, Acts 20:7).

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: [15] And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Five Secrets of Answered Prayer

1 John 3:23-24 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. By This standard Jesus Christ abides IN US and we KNOW that for a fact because we KEEP His Commandments and do those things which are pleasing in His sight! We further know that we have RECEIVED His Spirit that (HE) Jesus Christ, has given us.

Therefore, it is by the Spirit of God within us which speaks, proclaims the Miracles of God, Healings, Signs, Wonders and Mighty Deeds!

We further know that Almighty God does NOT use sinners to proclaim the Healing power of God unto sinners.

We further know, that if we were not of God we could do nothing, but because we have the Spirit of God in us we can do all things through Jesus Christ which strengthens us (2^nd Timothy 1:14; Philippians 4:13).

John 9:31-40 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. [32] Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. [33] If this man were not of God, he could do nothing. [34] They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out. [35] Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God? [36] He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? [37] And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee. [38] And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

If you were really ignorant you would have no sin, but now you are not in ignorance. You reject Me through enmity so your sin remains.

to be able to ask and receive what you ask Him for!

Therefore, we speak by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ asking the Heavenly Father to grant the petition(s) that we made of Him!
