What prompts or causes an Angel of Almighty God to
come to the aid
of the individual(s)?
Angels Come in Answer to Prayer unto
The Heavenly Father
We have already seen this in
several of the texts we've examined.
When Peter was miraculously released from prison by an angel-just before
he was to be executed-Luke is careful to note that it was while "prayer was made without ceasing of
the church unto God for him" (Acts 12:5).
It was in the midst of Jesus' prayer
in the garden that an angel came to His aid (Lk. 22:43). And Jesus knew that more would come if He
asked for them. Admonishing Peter for
trying to deliver Him with a sword, Jesus said, "Thinkest thou that I
cannot now pray to my Father, and
he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" (Matt..
26:53). It was while Cornelius was praying that the
angel appeared to him, leading to his salvation and that of his entire
household (Acts 10).
Abraham
understood the ministry of angels. While commissioning his
servant to look for a wife for Isaac, Abraham spoke prophetically concerning
angelic assistance, saying, "The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and
prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my
father's house" (Gen. 24:40). Perhaps
it was confidence in this word that encouraged the servant to pray so
specifically that the girl he asked for a drink would also offer to water the
camels - let her be the one You have chosen for Isaac’s wife (Gen.
24:12-14). We don't know exactly how the
angel prospered the way of this servant, but it could have been by prompting Rachel
to respond exactly as the man had prayed.
Some vivid illustrations of
angels coming in direct answer to prayer occurred in the life of Daniel. In chapter 9, after reading in Jeremiah that
God would complete the desolations of Jerusalem in seventy years (vv. Dan.
9:1-2), Daniel prayed a powerful
prayer of confession for the sins of an entire nation (vv. Dan. 9:3-19). While he was still praying, Gabriel came and said,
O Daniel, I am now come forth
to give thee skill and understanding. At
the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am
come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the
matter, and consider the vision. (vv. Dan.
9:22-23)
Then in chapter 10, Daniel
described his vision and another angelic encounter that occurred after he
had spent three weeks in prayer and fasting. Gabriel specifically told him that "from
the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten
thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words"
(v. Dan. 10:12). In other words, "I am come to answer the prayer that you have prayed."
As I have stated many times over, that
Prayer unto the Heavenly Father in the Holy and Wonderful Name and by
the blood of Jesus Christ
is the Preachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ most powerful weapon
against any and all
power over the devil (Luke 10:17-20)!
We that “are” a repentant believer
Unto The Lord Jesus Christ The
Son of Almighty God and a believer in Almighty God The Heavenly Father and
further a believer in The Holy Ghost and apply our Faith unto Him knowing
that Almighty God “will” hear our prayer and “will”
grant the request that we have made known unto Him. He “will” answer our prayer and grant the petition that
we have made of Him “IF”
(provided that); the request is just, righteous, holy and glorifying (pleasing)
unto Almighty God (Psalms 84:11; Proverbs 3:27).
Whereas, all that are “NOT” a repentant
believer
In The Lord Jesus Christ The Only Begotten Son of Almighty God,
Have either shunned, ignored,
scoffed at, made mockery of Almighty God The Heavenly Father’s work, holiness, deity
and the fact that Almighty God sent His Only Begotten Son into the world to die
on the Cross for the remission of sins for whosoever will repent of their sins that
they have committed and inherited from their parents against Almighty God (Romans
3:23, 5:12)
Romans 3:23-27 For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] Whom God hath set forth to
be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for
the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] To declare, I say, at this time his
righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him
which believeth in Jesus. [27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded.
By what law? of works? Nay: but
by the law of faith.
Who then can be saved?
Matthew 19:23-26 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a
rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. [24] And again I say unto you, It is
easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to
enter into the kingdom of God. [25] When his disciples heard
it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? [26]
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With
men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall
be saved.
Romans 10:9-13 That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord
Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation. [11] For the scripture saith, Whosoever
believeth on him shall not be ashamed. [12] For there is no difference
between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all
that call upon him. [13] For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be saved.
Many people are totally “unaware”
Of The Holy Angels
Of Almighty God!
Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have
entertained angels unawares.
Unawares = without the
knowledge (awareness) of the individual (human or animal)!
Who are you entertaining?
You shall know them by their fruits!
What is the “evidence” that they are speaking, saying, communicating, acting,
or revealing?
Are they just, holy, righteous and glorifying (pleasing) to Almighty
God?
Signs shall follow them that believe.
Mark 16:16 He
that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth
not shall be damned. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name
shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
[18] They shall take
up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they
shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
What are the signs that are following you
as you walk on in “your” life?
What are the Holy Angels of Almighty God “seeing” (witnessing) when
they watch you?
Romans 10:9-13 That if thou shalt confess
with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Have you entertained an Angel or Angels (many)?
Repent “now” while there is still time to repent!
