FINANCIAL BLESSINGS AND OTHER NEEDS MET - PART I

Prosperity

Prosperity (paraphrased) definition is: the ability to meet the needs of others at the level of their needs (by Christ Jesus)

Philip. 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

A promise that is still true to those who are in Christ and who are faithful to God as the Philippians were (Phil. 4:14-18).

What needs do you have?

The Saints of God are to distribute unto the poor (in their own church or area), whereas

(Spiritual food)

is to be presented and blessed of

The Pastor of the Church and he is to feed (The “Word” of God, as well as eatable physical food to the poor (Malachi 3:10), rule the flock (sheep), teach the flock (sheep) and Have the oversight of the flock (sheep)!

Scriptural rules: (qualifications) “for” receiving financial blessings FROM God!

One of the “first” things to do is to give

and to give “as unto” the Lord!

Luke 6:38  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

(1.)  Give!

(2.)  When you give as unto the Lord, it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over.

(3.) The same measure will be used to give back to you as the one that “you used to give with” and you will receive in the same way with which you gave with, with the exception that the amount or portion received back will be much greater to the extent of it running over as stated in Luke 6:38.

(4.)  Whatever the amount (product, merchandise) given in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ is, the amount given back will be (is promised of God), as shown in Luke 2:38 and number (2.) above.

Bosom is used many times in Scripture of folds of garments as they extend beyond and droop over the girdle.  It was also used to carry children (Numbers 11:12),

Another thing to do “is a must” (mandatory)!

giving tithes (tithes means 1/10 of or 10% of) unto the Lord!

Most people rob God by their NOT giving unto God their first fruits of their tithes thereby limiting themselves for receiving the other promises’ of God according to:

Malachi 3:8  Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. [9]  Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. [10] Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Almighty God’s additional promises to those who give unto Him their tithes

(firstfruits of all they received) and that obey Him

with the their giving!

Malachi 3:11  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.

Also, Jesus said “I will repay thee”

Luke 10:30   And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. [31] And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. [32] And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

[33] But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, [34] And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. [35] And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

He that lendeth, lendeth unto the Lord and

The Lord says I WILL REPAY

and the Lord will pay it back quickly, “now in this time

and Hewill notwait until you get to heaven for you to receive it

Proverbs 19:17  He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Luke 10:35  And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

Remember, the Lord says I will repay

as verse [30] states “Now in this time

Mark 10:28   Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. [29] And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, [30] But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Matthew 19:27   Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? [28] And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. [29] And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. [30] But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

The sower of the seed

Matthew 13:18  Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. [19] When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. [20] But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; [21] Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

[22] He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. [23] But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

[24] Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: [25] But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. [26] But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. [27] So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? [28] He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? [29] But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. [30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

[31] Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: [32] Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

[33] Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. [34] All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: [35] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

[36] Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. [37] He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; [38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; [39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. [40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. [41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; [42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. [43] Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

[44] Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. [45] Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: [46] Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

[47] Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: [48] Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. [49] So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, [50] And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. [51] Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. [52] Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

We are to have faith in God and

Love not the world!

1 John 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

If you are not careful and watchful and alert

You will allow the enemy to come and sow bad seed in your field (church or home), causing deceptions and confusion!

What kind or type of seed are you sowing? And are you protecting your field?

Are you feeding your family? Are you giving unto the poor?

Are you trusting God? Do you believe God’s Word?
