GIVE AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, SHALL MEN GIVE INTO YOUR BOSOM. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? IN TITHES AND OFFERINGS. 9 Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation. 10 BRING YE ALL THE TITHES INTO THE STOREHOUSE, that there may be meat in mine house, and PROVE ME NOW HEREWITH, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]. {pour...: Heb. empty out} 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. {destroy: Heb. corrupt}

When a person continually gives only a portion, as TITHES back to the Lord, (most return a percentage such as 10% some 20% ) of what the Lord God of Heaven has already given them, how in the world is it possible to out give God? Especially, when the money or the means of exchange (firstfruits) came from God in the first place. People sure get jealous, lustful and greedy of their money don't they? It is God that gave you the ability to get wealth in the first place!

Deuteronomy 8:16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; 17 And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of [mine] hand hath gotten me this wealth. 18 BUT THOU SHALT REMEMBER THE LORD THY GOD: FOR [IT IS] HE THAT GIVETH THEE POWER TO GET WEALTH, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as [it is] this day. 19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

Luke 10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion [on him], 34 And went to [him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave [them] to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I WILL REPAY THEE. [GOD IS NOT GOING TO BE A DEBTOR TO ANYONE FOR VERY LONG]

Proverbs 19:16 He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; [but] he that despiseth his ways shall die. 17 He that hath pity upon the poor LENDETH UNTO THE LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. {that which...: or, his deed}

Mark 10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But HE SHALL RECEIVE AN HUNDREDFOLD NOW IN THIS TIME , houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. 31 But many [that are] first shall be last; and the last first.

Matthew 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty . [THIS IS THE SAME WITH MONEY AS THE SOWING AND REAPING OF MONEY]

Mark 4:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. 8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty , and some sixty, and some an hundred.

Genesis 24:40 And he said unto me, The LORD, before whom I walk, will send his angel with thee, and prosper thy way; and thou shalt take a wife for my son of my kindred, and of my father's house:

Genesis 39:3 And his master saw that the LORD [was] with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand

Genesis 39:23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing [that was] under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and [that] which he did, the LORD made [it] to prosper.

Deuteronomy 29: 9 Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

Joshua 1:7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it [to] the right hand or [to] the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. { prosper : or, do wisely} 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. {have...: or, do wisely} 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.

1st Kings 2:3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: { prosper : or, do wisely}

2nd Chronicles 20:20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper .

2nd Chronicles 24:20 And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper ? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you. {came...: Heb. Clothed}

Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper . {wither: Heb. fade} 4 The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalms 73:10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full [cup] are wrung out to them. 11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? 12 Behold, these [are] the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase [in] riches. 13 Verily I have cleansed my heart [in] vain, and washed my hands in innocency. 14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning. {chastened: Heb. my chastisement was} 15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend [against] the generation of thy children. 16 When I thought to know this, it [was] too painful for me; {too...: Heb. labour in mine eyes} 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; [then] understood I their end.

Psalms 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper : but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [them] shall have mercy.

Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. {thou...: or, his soul shall make an offering} 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper ; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD. 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2 Wherefore do ye spend money for [that which is] not bread? and your labour for [that which] satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye [that which is] good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. {spend: Heb. weigh}

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it

3rd John 1;2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. {wish: or, pray}

Psalms 1:1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. {ungodly: or, wicked} 2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and WHATSOEVER HE DOETH SHALL PROSPER. {wither: Heb. fade}

PROSPERITY: The God given ability, to meet the needs of others, at the level of their needs by Christ Jesus!

I, "your name goes here" according to = Psalms 1:1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. {ungodly: or, wicked} 2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. {wither: Heb. fade} = is a very PROSPEROUS person by Christ Jesus!

I remember a true story about a man that just gave his heart to the Lord and had repented of his sins and confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. The new Christian wanted to be obedient unto the Lord and do that which was right before God, so he went to his Pastor and asked the Pastor for advice. Saying, 'Pastor I have heard that Christians are supposed to give the Lord back some of the money or something like that, which the Lord has blessed them with and I need to know what the proper thing to do is!' The Pastor began to explain the giving of tithes to the Lord and that the Christians were to worship the Lord with their money or whatever the Lord had blessed them with (whatever God had prospered them with). The new Christian said, 'Well, I understand and that's only fair to give the Lord back a portion of what He has blessed me with, so Pastor, is it all right if I give the Lord 10% of what He has blessed me with?' They both prayed about it and the new Christian made a Covenant with the Lord. The Pastor agreed and shook the new Christian's hand and said, 'I know that the Lord accepted that!' So the new Christian began giving his tithes to the Lord, every time without fail.

Over the years as the Lord blessed the Christian, the Christian continued giving the Lord his tithes. The Christian prospered and prospered financially, growing with huge benefits and lots of profit! Finally, the old Christian (the same one but he was just older) went back to the same old Pastor and said, 'Pastor, the years have come and gone and I am extremly wealthy now. Pastor, that 10% percent (covenant) that I have been giving the Lord of my tithes is a lot of money. Is there any way that I can get out of that promise (covenant) that I made with the Lord about my tithes?' As the old Pastor thought for a minute, brushing and rubbing the side of his face back and forth with his hand and then scratching his head, the Pastor said to the Christian, 'Well son! You can't get out of that old promise (covenant) with the Lord, but here's what we will do if you want! We will pray and ask the Lord to make it possible for you to be able to afford to give a dollar bill as your tithes again!!!'
