GOD EITHER CAUSES IT OR ALLOWS IT - PART I

Understanding how we have been praying vs. understanding how we need to pray unto Our Father which art in Heaven and why, (Mark 6:69).

Matthew 6:9  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

A Sinner statement VS a Child of God’s Prayer!

And there are many various ways (words to say) with which to pray or to begin prayer with. They may not necessarily be incorrect or wrong pertaining to what is stated or how they are stated, simply because Our Heavenly Father listens (hears) all of the prayers (words stated) of His children.

Eccles. 2:26  For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit. [Therefore the wealth of the sinner is laid up FOR the righteous!]

Proverbs 15:8  The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

[abomination to the LORD]

Twenty Things that Are an Abomination to God

1. The froward man. Hebrew: luwz (HSN-3868), perverse; one who turns aside (Proverbs 3:32; Proverbs 11:20)

2. A proud look (Proverbs 6:16-17)

3. A lying tongue (Proverbs 6:17; Proverbs 12:22)

4. Hands that shed innocent blood (Proverbs 6:17)

5. A wicked scheming heart (Proverbs 6:18)

6. Feet quick to sin (Proverbs 6:18)

7. A false witness that speaks lies (Proverbs 6:19)

8. A sower of discord (Proverbs 6:19)

9. Wickedness (Proverbs 8:7)

10. A false balance (scale, Proverbs 11:1)

11. Sacrifice of the wicked (Proverbs 15:8; Proverbs 21:27)

12. The way of the wicked (Proverbs 15:9)

13. The thoughts of the wicked (Proverbs 15:26)

14. The proud of heart (Proverbs 16:5)

15. Justifying the wicked (Proverbs 17:15)

16. Condemning the just (Proverbs 17:15)

17. Diverse weights (Proverbs 20:10, 23)

18. Diverse measures (Proverbs 20:10)

19. Refusing to hear the law (Proverbs 28:9)

20. Prayer of the rebel (Proverbs 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.)  [This is NOT referring to the laws of the courts of the various lands (countries, states, counties or cities), but instead, it is referring to the Laws (commandments) of God]

[He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination]

The person, who turns away from God’s TRUTH and God’s Laws (Commandments), will not receive answers from God. The person must repent of the sins and transgressions against God and receive Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour asking Jesus Christ The Son of God to come into the person’s heart before The Lord God Jehovah will listen and recognize them as a Child of God.

John 9:31  Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

[we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.]

It should be understood: Almighty God does not use sinners, the unredeemed or the unrighteous to pray asking or commanding Almighty God to heal the eyes of the blind or heal anything or anyone.

Therefore, All Medical Doctors of today which are not of God, can do nothing without Almighty God’s Healing virtue which He (Almighty God) has already implanted within the individuals body. Therefore, without Almighty God’s healing virtue already implanted within the person’s body at birth, the Surgeons knife would be of NO VALUE (John 9:33).

This is proof that no sinner will ever get any kind of prayer answered without first repenting of his sins and transgressions against God. God has heard sinners in all ages and will always do so, if they will pray humbly and repentantly before God, then, that person is no longer a sinner, but forgiven (Romans 10:9-13) and has became a child of God (born again).

Psalm 37:25  I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

The Levi Priest!

The Levi and the Holy Priest were to offer up unto God Jehovah, sacrifices for sins, lambs, goats, and etc (Exod.30:10; Levitic.4:3). Jesus Christ became the living Sacrifice (Acts 8:32; Luke 23:32-34; Acts 5:29-32; Rev. 1 :18) and was offered up upon the Cross of Calvary unto God, for the remission of sins for whosoever will (Mark 8:34; Romans 10:13; Rev. 22:17), may call upon Him for the forgiveness of their sins (Acts 26:18; Ephes. 1:7; Col. 1:14). At least once a year or more, The tribe of Levi were to offer Sacrifices for the sins unto Almighty God.

Examples of God Hearing the Righteous and forgiving their sins:

1.   Jacob for prosperity (Genesis 28)

2.   Israel for deliverance (Judges 3:9, 15; Judges 6:7-10; Judges 10:6-18; Judges 20:18-28)

3.   Ahab for mercy (1 Kings 21:25-29)

4.   Manasseh for mercy (2 Chron. 33:9-13)

5.   Sinner woman for pardon (Luke 7:36-50)

6.   Publican for pardon (Luke 18:9-14)

7.   Nobleman for healing (John 4:49-53)

8.   Cornelius and house for salvation (cp. Acts 10:1-6 with Acts 11:14-18; Acts 15:7-13)

God has not promised sinners any particular answer other than forgiveness if they repent (1 John 1:9).

1 John 4:6  We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

[Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error]

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth (John 14:16-17; John 15:26; John 16:13) and the spirit of error is Satan (2 Cor. 4:4; 2 Cor. 11:14-15; Matthew 13:19; 1 Tim. 4:1-2)

Eighteen Reasons for Unanswered Prayer

1.   Refusing to listen to truth (Proverbs 28:9)

2.   Refusing to humble self (2 Chron. 7:14)

3.   Forsaking God (2 Chron. 15:2)

4.   Provoking God (Deut. 3:26)

5.   Hardheartedness (Zech. 7:12-13)

6.   Lack of charity (Proverbs 21:13)

7.   Regarding iniquity in the heart (Psalm 66:18)

8.   Wrong motives (James 4:3)

9.   Dishonor of companion (1 Peter 3:7)

10. Unbelief (Matthew 17:20-21; Matthew 21:22)

11. Sin (James 4:1-5; John 9:31; Isaiah 59:2)

12. Parading prayer life (Matthew 6:5)

13. Vain repetitions (Matthew 6:7)

14. Unforgiveness (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25-26)

15. Hypocrisy (Luke 18:9-14)

16. Being discouraged (Luke 18:1-8)

17. Worry and anxiety (Phil. 4:6)

18. Doubting - double-mindedness (James 1:5-8)

There are SOME people the child of God is NOT

to pray for!

BE very careful what you pray for!

Jeremiah 7:16  Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

[Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me]

Therefore - in view of their abandonment to destruction without any remedy - God commanded Jeremiah:

1.   Not to pray for Judah.

2.   Not to lift up a cry (or prayer) for them.

3.   Not to make intercession for them.

In Jeremiah 14:7-9 we have an intercessory prayer offered by Jeremiah, but it was not answered.

Jeremiah 11:14  Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.

The reason evil is allowed: that we might

turn toward God seeking forgiveness for our transgressions against Him and

asking Him to keep all evil far from us.

Daniel 9:13  As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

Threefold guarantee of blessing from God:

1.   Prayer and confession of sin (Daniel 9:3,4-6,17,20)

2.   Turning from iniquity (Daniel 9:13; Isaiah 55:7)

3.   Understanding and obeying truth (Daniel 9:4-10, 13; John 8:32-36; Romans 1:16)

We also pray for Israel

that they might be saved!

Don’t forget to pray for Israel!

Romans 10:1  Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,

James 5:15   And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. [16] Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

[the prayer of faith shall save the sick]

This is what heals the sick in such cases.  When the prayer of faith is prayed and the name of Jesus Christ invoked, the Lord shall raise up the sick and forgive him if he has sinned.  This power to heal is promised to every believer, not only the elders of the church (Matthew 17:20; Matthew 21:22; Mark 9:23; Mark 11:22-24; Mark 16:15-20; John 14:12-15; John 15:7, 16; John 16:23-26).

[The Lord shall raise him up]

This is true divine healing.

[if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him]

Healing and forgiveness go hand in hand (Matthew 9:5; Matthew 13:15; Acts 3:16; Acts 4:12; Acts 28:27).

All throughout The Holy Word of God

You will find: that either Almighty God causes it OR allows it; wither it be a healing, a miracle, or a disastrous accident and

Jesus Christ did NOT pray for the world!

John 17:9  I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

[I pray for them]

Seven things prayed for believers:

1.   To be kept from evil (John 17:11, 15)

2.   Unity of all believers, as God and Christ are one (John 17:11, 21-23)

3.   Joy of Christ fulfilled in all believers (John 17:13)

4.   Sanctification or separation of believers to the full work of God, as He had been set apart for this work (John 17:17-19; John 10:36)

5.   World recognition of God's love to believers (John 17:24)

6.   Reunion with Christ (John 17:24)

7.   To see His glory (John 17:24)

John 17:15  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

[out of the world]

He does not pray for them to die and leave the world, nor seclude themselves in deserts or separate themselves from the world in communities and monasteries to escape temptation, but to live as lights and examples of God in the world (Matthew 5:16; Phil. 2:15; Titus 2:11-14; 1 Cor. 5:10

[evil]

The evil one (Matthew 6:13; 1 John 5:19).

Matthew 6:12   And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. [13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. [14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: [15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Therefore!

The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just!

Proverbs 13:22  A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

A good man leaves an inheritance of prayers, a godly life, a good name, a wonderful example, and many cherished memories, and in some cases, houses, lands, and wealth for his children.  In contrast, the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

It is at this point in this lesson

We need to remind you that it is Almighty God our Heavenly Father that does the work when we (pray unto Him) asking Him. He will either to permit (allow) something or not permit (allow) something (John 14:10).

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

***Also remembering that Almighty God our Heavenly Father either permits (allows) it or does NOT Permit (allow) it and He will either cause it or NOT cause it.

****Therefore, the more plainly stated of the last two statements, Our Heavenly Father does either cause it, allow it or prevent it.

Knowing that when God Almighty shuts a door, NO man CAN open it and when He opens a door, NO man can close it!

Knowing these statements to be absolute fact!

We need to think more clearly pertaining to our Prayer Request

made of Him (1st John 5:14-15).

1 John 5:14   And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: [15] And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Pertaining to a Christian (true child of God)

Sickness or affliction!

We also know that Our Heavenly Father has already provided for our healing and we also know that it is His will for us to receive and accept our healing from Him (Gen 15:26; Isaiah 53:1-6; 1st Peter 2:24). Further, we also already know, that Jesus Christ The Only Begotten Son of God has already provided for our healing (by His stripes we were healed). Now it is up to us to believe it, receive it, accept it and praise the Lord for it!

Further and a very important fact!

(Another fact about another thought)

We need to repent of our sins and transgressions against God asking The Heavenly Father to remove whatever He has permitted (allowed) Satan to afflict (buffet, 2nd Corinth. 12:7) us with, when we are afflicted or buffeted.

Some things are done that

The Lord may be glorified!

Our Correction!

Hebrew: muwcar (HSN-4148), correction. He (Jesus Christ The Son of God) did not sin, so all needed correction was ours. We had sinned and were estranged from God, so God sent Him to be chastised in our place in order that we might become reconciled and have peace with our Heavenly Father (Maker, Creator) again. What was necessary to reconcile God and man was placed upon Christ to make peace again between God and the redeemed man (Isaiah 53:5).

And

John 14:13  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
