GOD SPOKE - PART I

The days of Creation!

God spoke this world into existence

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. [3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. [4] And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. [5] And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. [6] And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

[God is a Spirit]

God is a Spirit Being, not the sun, moon, stars; nor an image of wood, stone, or metal; and not beast or man. He is not the air, wind, universal mind, love or some impersonal quality.

He is a person with a personal spirit body, a personal soul, and a personal spirit, like that of angels, and like that of man except His body is of spirit substance instead of flesh and bones (Job 13:8; Hebrews 1:3). He has a personal spirit body (Daniel 7:9-14; Daniel 10:5-19); shape (John 5:37); form (Phil. 2:5-7); image and likeness of a man (Genesis 1:26; Genesis 9:6; Ezekiel 1:26-28; 1 Cor. 11:7; James 3:9). He has physical parts such as, back parts (Exodus 33:23), heart (Genesis 6:6; Genesis 8:21), hands and fingers (Psalm 8:3-6; Hebrews 1:10; Rev. 5:1-7), mouth (Numbers 12:8), lips and tongue (Isaiah 30:27), feet (Ezekiel 1:27; Exodus 24:10), eyes (Psalm 11:4; Psalm 18:24; Psalm 33:18), ears (Psalm 18:6), hair, head, face, arms (Daniel 7:9-14; Daniel 10:5-19; Rev. 5:1-7; Rev. 22:4-6), loins (Ezekiel 1:26-28; Ezekiel 8:1-4), and other physical parts. He has bodily presence (Genesis 3:8; Genesis 18:1-22) and goes from place to place in a body like all other persons (Genesis 3:8; Genesis 11:5; Genesis 18:1-5,22,33; Genesis 19:24; Genesis 32:24-32; Genesis 35:13; Zech. 14:5; Daniel 7:9-14; Titus 2:13). He has a voice (Psalm 29; Rev. 10:3-4); breath (Genesis 2:7); and countenance (Psalm 11:7). He wears clothes (Daniel 7:9-14; Daniel 10:5-19); eats (Genesis 18:1-8; Exodus 24:11); rests (Genesis 2:1-4; Hebrews 4:4); dwells in a mansion and in a city located on a material planet called Heaven (John 14:1-3; Hebrews 11:10-16; Hebrews 13:14; Rev. 21); sits on a throne (Isaiah 6; Daniel 7:9-14; Rev. 4:1-5; Rev. 22:3-6); walks (Genesis 3:8; Genesis 18:1-8,22,33); rides (Psalm 18:10; Psalm 68:17; Psalm 104:3; Ezekiel 1); and engages in other activities.

He has a personal soul with feelings of grief (Genesis 6:6), anger (1 Kings 11:9), repentance (Genesis 6:6), jealousy (Exodus 20:5), hate (Proverbs 6:16), love (John 3:16), pity (Psalm 103:13), fellowship (1 John 1:1-7), pleasure and delight (Psalm 147:10), and other soul passions like other beings (Galatians 5:22-23).

He has a personal spirit (Psalm 143:10; Isaiah 30:1) with mind (Romans 11:34), intelligence (Genesis 1:26; Romans 11:33), will (Romans 8:27; Romans 9:19), power (Ephes. 1:19; Ephes. 3:7,20; Hebrews 1:3), truth (Psalm 91:4), faith and hope (Romans 12:3; 1 Cor. 13:13), righteousness (Psalm 45:4), faithfulness (1 Cor. 10:13), knowledge and wisdom (Isaiah 11:2; 1 Tim. 1:17), reason (Isaiah 1:18), discernment (Hebrews 4:12), immutability (Hebrews 6:17), and many other attributes, powers, and spirit faculties.

He has been seen physically many times (Genesis 18; Genesis 32:24-30; Exodus 24:9-11; Joshua 5:13-15; Isaiah 6; Daniel 7:9-13; Ezekiel 1; Acts 7:56-59; Rev. 4-5), and can be understood by the things that are made. Man is the visible image and likeness making the invisible God clearly seen as in Romans 1:20

[THE CREATIVE AGES]

Creative agesfrom the dateless past to the end of the seven days of Genesis 1:3-2:25. The period may be called the dispensation of angels, because angels ruled various planets (Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28:11-17; Col. 1:15-18).

[made perfect and inhabited]

Deut. 32:4; Job 38; Psalm 18:30; Eccles. 3:11.

[The world that then was]

The world (Greek: kosmos (GSN-2889), social system) that then was embraces the pre-Adamite universe, to which all fossils and remains belong.

The Dateless Past

In the beginning refers to the dateless past (Proverbs 8:22-23; John 1:1; Acts 15:18; Ephes. 3:9; Col. 1:18; Hebrews 1:10; Hebrews 11:3; 1 John 1:1; Rev. 1:8; Rev. 3:14). Genesis 1:1 is the introduction to the Bible and all of history, because it marks the boundary between time and eternity. It is not a summary of what is to follow, because it mentions heaven first while the following verses mention the earth first. Job 38:4-7 makes it clear that the heavens were created first or the stars couldnt have rejoiced when the earth was created. This proves that Genesis 1:1 refers to prior acts of God. Genesis 1:2 shows that the earth was under a flood of judgment. And, the verses which follow refer to the earths restoration to a second habitable state. That God existed from all eternity is clear in Scripture (Psalm 90:2; Psalm 93:2; Proverbs 8:22-31; Micah 5:2; John 1:1-3; Hebrews 9:14; Rev. 1:4-8; Rev. 4:8; Rev. 22:5,13). What He did in all the dateless past, besides creating the spiritual, moral, and material universes, is not revealed (see Deut. 29:29).

The Age of the Earth

There is no conflict between science and the Bible. However, real scientific discoveries must be distinguished from theories. Scienceespecially geologyis still in its infancy and the testimony of rocks is uncertain. True statements of Gods Word must also be distinguished from mans interpretation of them. We cant say how old the earth is because we dont know when the beginning was. Gods creation of the heavens and the earth could have been billions of years ago. If geologists can prove the age of the earth to be what they claim, we have no scriptural authority to disagree. They cant contradict the Bible, however, because it doesnt reveal any time element in connection with the earths original creation. This much is certain according to Scripture: The earth is more than six thousand years old and was inhabited before the days of Adam. It was cursed and flooded because of sin before the six days of re-creation in Genesis 1:3-2:25. Lucifer was already a fallen creature when he came into Adams Eden, having already ruled the earth and rebelled, causing the first flood (Genesis 1:2; Isaiah 14:12-14; Jeremiah 4:23-26; Ezekiel 28:11-17; Luke 10:18; 2 Peter 3:5-7). See Lucifers Flood and The Pre-Adamite World.

Fifteen Things which the Bible Does Not Say

1. The beginning was 6,000 years ago.

2. The earth was created 6,000 years ago.

3. The six days work of Genesis 1:3-2:25 was the same as the original work of Genesis 1:1.

4. The earth was created as chaos and flooded as in Genesis 1:2 (Isaiah 45:18).

5. The earth was created waste and empty as in Genesis 1:1 (Isaiah 45:18).

6. Light and darkness were created in day one of Genesis 1:3-5. This isnt true because they were present in Lucifers kingdom before Adam. When the earth was flooded because of sin (Genesis 1:2; Psalm 104:6-9; 2 Peter 3:5-7) the heavens withheld light, causing the darkness of Genesis 1:2 (Jeremiah 4:23-26).

7. Clouds and the water in them were created in day two (Genesis 1:6-8). On the contrary, they had been giving rain on the earth all through Lucifers reign on earth (Isaiah 14:12-14; Job 38:4-30).

8. The earth was created in day three of Genesis 1:9-13. It was actually created in the beginning (Genesis 1:1), and was in existence during the flood of Genesis 1:2 and the first two days of re-creation (Genesis 1:2-8).

9. The earth was dry land for the first time in day three (Genesis 1:9-13). It was dry land from its creation in the dateless past to the time it was flooded because of sin (Genesis 1:1-2; Psalm 104:6-9; 2 Peter 3:5-7). It is called earth (dry land) in Genesis 1:1.

10. The earth brought forth vegetation for the first time in day three (Genesis 1:9-13). There had been fruitful places in Lucifers kingdom (Jeremiah 4:23-26).

11. The sun, moon, and stars were created in day four. They were created in the beginning before the earth existed (Genesis 1:1; Job 38:4-7). The work of day four concerned their regulation with the restored earth.

12. Birds, beasts, and man were first created in days five and six, about six thousand years ago. On the contrary, some were created for Lucifers kingdom and were destroyed in Lucifers flood of Genesis 1:2 (Isaiah 14:12-14; Jeremiah 4:23-26; 2 Peter 3:5-7).

13. Adam was the first man ever to live on the earth. People and nations were on earth when Lucifer ruled (Isaiah 14:12-14; Jeremiah 4:23-26; 2 Peter 3:5-7).

14. The heavens, the earth and all things therein are a product of evolution. On the contrary, God created them all (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3; Ephes. 3:9; Col. 1:15-18; Rev. 4:11).

15. Human beings as we know them today have evolved from lower forms of life. The Bible teaches that man was created perfect and highly intelligent, with the ability to name all other created things. Since the day he fell, man has become depraved and ignorant compared to his original state (Genesis 2:7,15-25; Genesis 3:1-24; Romans 1:18-32; Romans 5:12-21; Ephes. 2).

Bara - Create, Defined

Created in Genesis 1:1 is from the Hebrew bara (HSN-1254), to bring into being (see Hebrews 11:3). It is used 7 times in the first two chapters of Genesis (Genesis 1:1,21,27; Genesis 2:3,4). In all other places made and make are used, proving the six days work to be mainly reconstructive. In Genesis 1:1 the universe is brought into existence; in Genesis 1:21 sea creatures are created; and in Genesis 1:27 man is created. Thus, bara (HSN-1254) is reserved for the introduction of the three great spheres of existence: the world of matter; the natural life of all living creatures; and spiritual life represented by man.

Gods original creations include the heavens, the earth, and all things therein as first brought into beingmade perfect the first time. Genesis 1:1 refers to the beginning of the creative ages (Job 38; Psalm 8:3-8; Psalm 19:1-6; Proverbs 8:22-31; John 1:3,10; Acts 1:4-26; Col. 1:15-18; Hebrews 1:1-12; Hebrews 11:3; Rev. 4:11). The six days of re-creation (Genesis 1:3-2:25) end the creative ages, and are distinct from the original creations of the heavens and earth.

Jesus Said

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Jesus was with the Heavenly Father at the creation of the world!

John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

God Spoke this world into existence!

The Words of Jesus Christ, they are Spirit, therefore when God our Heavenly Father (John 4:24) created us (human beings) in their image, our words are also Spirit and we are to either speak life or speak death!

God Spoke and gave warnings

Saying thou shouldest not

Obadiah 1:4

Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord.

Obadiah 1:1-9

The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord God concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle. [2] Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

[3] The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground? [4] Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord. [5] If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? If the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes? [6] How are the things of Esau searched out! How are his hidden things sought up! [7] All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him. [8] Shall I not in that day, saith the Lord, even destroy the wise men out of Edom, and understanding out of the mount of Esau? [9] And thy mighty men, O Teman, shall be dismayed, to the end that every one of the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

Obadiah 1:10-12

For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. [11] In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them. [12] But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

Obadiah 1:13-15

Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; [14] Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress. [15] For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Obadiah 1:16

For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

There shall be deliverance!

Obadiah 1:17-19

But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. [18] And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the Lord hath spoken it. [19] And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

Saviours shall judge the mount of Esau!

Obadiah 1:20-21

And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south. [21] And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lords.

What does this all men?

It means: Gods Holy Word has been declared AND is continuing to be declared in the same way that God The Almighty, never let one single word of the Prophet Samuel fall to the ground or go amiss. So, The Words Spoken by The Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob never falls to the ground nor go amiss but is ever faithful, true and absolute. So is It Written, therefore so is It done!

1 Samuel 3:16-19

Then Eli called Samuel, and said, Samuel, my son. And he answered, Here am I. [17] And he said, What is the thing that the Lord hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee. [18] And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the Lord: let him do what seemeth him good. [19] And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

Do any of your words fall to the ground?

Do any of your words go amiss?

Do you always speak truth or do you speak what you think that truth is?

Gods Every Word is true, is yours?
