HOMOSEXUALITY IS AN ABOMINATION AGAINST GOD - PART I

If you do not understand truth, then you are of your father the devil!

John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. [43] Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

[If God were your Father, ye would love me] If God were your Father you would love Me. You would not persecute Me if you were of the same Father that I am.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

[devil] Greek: diabolos (GSN-1228), adversary, slanderer, accuser. Used of Satan here and in John 13:2; Matthew 4:1-11; Matthew 13:39; Matthew 25:41; Luke 4:1-13; Luke 8:12; Acts 10:38; Acts 13:10; Ephes. 4:27; Ephes. 6:11; 1 Tim. 3:6-7; 2 Tim. 2:26; Hebrews 2:14; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8; 1 John 3:8-10; Jude 1:9; Rev. 2:10; Rev. 12:9,12; Rev. 20:2,10. It is used of men who were slanderers and accusers in John 6:70; 1 Tim. 3:11; 2 Tim. 3:3; Titus 2:3.

[lusts] Greek: epithumia (GSN-1939), desire, crave, long for, lust. Satanic lusts are like those of men but much stronger because of being agitated by spirit forces. Fallen angels and men are capable of misusing their creative faculties in deeper and deeper degrees of sin and rebellion as time goes by.

[murderer] Because death “originally” came through him. This refers not to Cain's murder, but to the death of the whole race by sin (Genesis 2:17; Romans 5:12-21; Hebrews 2:14).

[abode not in the truth] He walked in truth for a time “until” he decided to rebel against God and this was “before” he "abode not" or rebelled against truth (Ezekiel 28:11-17; Isaiah 14:12-14). This was before Adam's day for he (Satan the devil, Lucifer) was already a fallen creature when he came into Adam's Eden (Genesis 3). The rebellion caused the flood of Lucifer (Genesis 1:2; Jeremiah 4:23-26; 2 Peter 3:5-8).

[no truth in him] He (Lucifer, Satan) chose to reject all truth in his period of probation as the Jews were doing here (John 8:39-47). When he (Lucifer, Satan the devil) speaks a lie, he (Lucifer, Satan the devil) speaks of his (Lucifer, Satan the devil) “own falsehood,” for he (Lucifer, Satan the devil) is a liar and the father of lies and liars, including all of that approve of and agree with him (Lucifer, Satan that old devil)

Teach Truth, Study Truth!

[2:1] Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. [2] But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

Don’t worship idols!

When The Lord comes what will He find you doing?

Leviticus 26:30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

Deut. 7:2 And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

[thou shalt smite them, ...] See Deut. 7:1-11; Deut. 12:1-5; 1 Samuel 15.

Six commands - the conquest of Canaan:

1. Smite the nations and utterly destroy them.

2. Make no covenant with them.

3. Show them no mercy.

4. Do not marry them (Deut. 7:3).

5. Do not give your daughters to them, or take their daughters for your sons.

6. Destroy their altars, break down their images, burn them, and cut down their groves (Deut. 7:5).

[nor shew mercy] Showing no mercy was no more cruel than justly condemning a criminal. See Leviticus 18 for the awful sins of these nations.

Deut. 7:4-5 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. [5] But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.

There were four reasons why Israel was to utterly destroy the corrupt nations of Canaan:

1. They will turn away your children from following Me.

2. They will cause them to become idol worshipers, so that I will have to destroy them.

3. You are a holy people unto Me (Deut. 7:6).

4. I have chosen you to be a special people above all others on the face of the earth.

[so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly] God gave many warnings to Israel before their backslidings to assure them He was a God of justice and judgment as well as one of mercy and forgiveness. He promised rewards for obedience and specific curses for disobedience. Grace covers sin only if it is properly confessed and put away.

Deut. 12:2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: [3] And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

[Ye shall utterly destroy all the places ...]

Five Commands - Destruction of Idols

1. Observe and do all these statutes and judgments in the land when you possess it; do them all the days of your life (Deut. 12:1).

2. Utterly destroy all the places where the nations served their gods—in the high mountains, on the hills, and under every green tree (Deut. 12:2).

3. Overthrow their altars, break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire (Deut. 12:3).

4. Chop down the graven images of their gods, and remove their names from that place.

5. You shall not do so unto the Lord your God (Deut. 12:4). This refers to setting up images, pillars, and altars on every high hill and under every green tree, according to their choice and desire.

God commanded them not to worship Him this way. He would choose the place of worship and the manner in which people should seek Him.

For real True Born again Children of Almighty God,

Ouija boards will NOT work or respond for them!

Because of the Child of God is covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ!

Blood of the Passover Lamb!

Exodus 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

It typified the blood of Christ sprinkled for believers (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 1:2,18-19; Hebrews 9:13-14,22; Hebrews 10:19; Hebrews 13:20). No blood was to be sprinkled on the threshold where the feet would trample on it. See Hebrews 10:29.

Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

By the Blood of the passover Lamb being applied to your doorpost

[Blood Of (Jesus Christ) shall be to you for a token] Blood was the token of obedience. By this sign the death angel knew which houses to pass over when slaying the firstborn. Faith in God gave peace in the houses where the blood had been sprinkled (cp. Hebrews 9:22).

[when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you] With the blood applied and all conditions met, God gave security to that home. Doubt might destroy the peace, but not the security which was founded on God's word. Faith without blood would have brought no security, regardless of personal feelings. So it is with the gospel that all conditions must be met: repentance must be sincere. No one “is” secure in Christ while living in sin, for the terms of repentance are not being met (John 8:31-36; John 15:1-8; Romans 6:16-23; Romans 8:1-13; 2 Cor. 3:16-17; 2 Cor. 6:9-11,19-20; 2 Cor. 9:27; Galatians 1:6-8; Galatians 5:4,16-26; Col. 3:5-10; Titus 2:11-13; Hebrews 3:6,12-14; Hebrews 6:4-9; Hebrews 10:19-29; 2 Peter 2:20-22).

[pass over] Hebrew: pacach (HSN-6452). Hence, passover (Hebrew: pecach (HSN-6453)) is the name of the yearly feast of Israel to commemorate their deliverance from the death angel in Egypt.

Are you covered by the BLOOD

2 John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
