He gave them power

Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Matthew 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. [8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. [9] Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, [10] Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. [11] And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. [12] And when ye come into an house, salute it. [13] And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. [14] And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Mark 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. [17] And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; [18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Five Signs that Follow Believers

1.  Cast out devils (Mark 16:17; Luke 10:19; Matthew 10:7-8; Matthew 17:20-21; John 14:12)

2.  Speak with new tongues (Mark 16:17; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7; 1 Cor. 12-14; Isaiah 28:11)

3.  Take up serpents ( Mark 16:18, note; Luke 10:19; Psalm 91; Acts 28:1-5)

4.  Be immune from poisons ( Mark 16:18, Psalm 91; Luke 10:18; 2 Kings 4:41)

5.  Heal the sick (Mark 16:18; Matthew 10:1-8; Luke 24:49; John 14:12; Acts 1:8):

(1) Christ did ( Matthew 13:58)

(2) Disciples did (Matthew 10:1-8; Mark 6:7-13; Luke 10:1-20; Acts 3:6; Acts 5:16; Acts 19:11-12; Hebrews 2:3-4)

(3) All disciples commanded to do it (Matthew 10:8; Luke 10:9; Matthew 28:20)

(4) All believers promised power to do it (Mark 16:17-18; Matthew 17:20-21; Matthew 21:22; Mark 9:23; Mark 11:22-24; Luke 11:9-13; Luke 24:49; John 7:37-39; John 14:12-15; John 15:7,16; John 16:23-26; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 5:32)

(5) Early church practiced it (James 5:14-16; Acts 5:12)

Signs are to follow "them that believe," not them that doubt!

Signs are to follow "them that believe," not them that doubt, disbelieve, constantly deny such possibility and use every excuse of unbelief to evade doing these things. This means literally what it says—"even unto the end of the world" (Matthew 28:20). This does not mean that one cannot be saved or get other benefits from God if he cannot do these things, nor does it mean that one is an unbeliever in salvation if he cannot do them. It simply means that he has not attained to faith sufficient to appropriate the benefits promised.

[In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues] The source of the believer's power.  "In my name" expresses the full power of attorney.  If one fully uses this power he will do the works of Christ (John 14:12-15; John 15:16; Acts 1:8).

He that believeth on me

John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. [13] And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14] If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. [15] If ye love me, keep my commandments. [16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

[chosen you, and ordained you] You are chosen and ordained to:

1.  Go and bring forth fruit.

2.  Produce eternal works.

3.  Get an answer to every prayer.

[that ye should go and bring forth fruit]

True Ministers Must Be

1.  United to the vine (John 15:5)

2.  Chosen by God to the work (John 15:15)

3.  Ordained by God for the work (John 15:15)

4.  Laborers to bring forth fruit, not idlers (John 6:27; John 15:16)

5.  Goers to the work, not waiters for the work (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 4:35-38; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:4-8)

6.  Preservers of their fruit, not destroyers of it (John 15:16; John 6:27)

7.  Prayers that get results (John 15:16)

8.  Lovers of all men (John 15:12-17; 1 John 3:4-18; 1 Cor. 13)

[in my (The name of Jesus Christ) name] By My (Jesus Christ) Authority

John 16:23   And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

It must be taken to heart!

The Word of God and The Word of Jesus Christ

Must be taken to heart and obeyed, including all of the commandments of God, Salvation including repentance and forgiveness is a must (mandatory) and anything less can cause an individual (the servant of God) to lose his faith in God by the individual’s consenting, approving of or ignoring that which is evil or dishonest such as lying, cheating, stealing and acting like the devil. By the individual committing the such causes himself to lose out with God which separates’ himself away from God and further causes himself to lose faith in God.

For a person (individual to have Victory in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Individual must maintain victory (power and authority), over the devil is all circumstances in the Name and By the Blood of Jesus Christ! ALWAYS!

When an Individual CHILD OF GOD makes a sinful mistake, Satan is always there to lay blame and will remind the CHILD OF GOD of that sinful mistake. And, every time the CHILD OF GOD prays unto the Heavenly Father, Satan will use that sinful mistake (the remembrance(s) of it) and steal the CHILD OF GOD’S victory causing the CHILD OF GOD to lose confidence in God and blaming God for not answering the CHILD OF GOD’S prayer. Simply because the first prayer that The Lord will listen to is the prayer of repentance and humility.

John 9:31  Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

1 John 4:6  We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Therefore, if or when a CHILD OF GOD makes a mistake or sins and for God to hear his prayer;

Rev. 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Hebrews 6:4  For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, [5] And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, [6] If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Whereas if that CHILD OF GOD commits the un-pardonable sin (Sins against the Holy Ghost) there remains no more sacrifice for his sins, therefore DO NOT SIN AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST And just as importantly, don’t sin Against Almighty God!

Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. [32] And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Have you lost God’s favor?

Have you lost the glory of God in your life?

Do you still feel the presence of God and His wonderful warmth when you pray?

Are you prepared for the Lord’s return?

Is your heart and soul clean before God!

Is there still tugging at your heart to repent and ask Jesus Christ the Son of God to forgive

you and to come into your heart before you take your last breath?
