PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD - PART I (revised)
1 Thessalonians 4:15 (KJV)
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord,
that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord
shall not prevent them which are asleep.
James 5:7-8 (KJV)
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the
coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit
of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and
latter rain. [8] Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the
coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
[by the word of the Lord] This means by
revelation (Galatians 1:12).
[coming of the Lord] The coming in the air (1 Thes. 4:17), not
His second coming to the earth of Zech. 14; Rev. 19; Matthew 24:29-31; Matthew
25:31-46; Jude 1:14.
[prevent] Greek: phthano (GSN-5348), to come before or first. It
means that the living saints will not precede or go before the dead saints, but
that both will go together to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thes. 4:16-17).
Translated prevent (1 Thes. 4:15); attain (Romans 9:31; Phil. 3:16); and come
(Matthew 12:28; Luke 11:20; 2 Cor. 10:14; 1 Thes. 2:16).
James 5:7
[coming of the Lord] This refers to the rapture (not the second coming)
when the Lord will come in the air to receive the saints to Himself (James
5:7-8; John 14:1-3; Luke 21:34-36; 1 Cor. 15:23,51-58; 2 Cor. 5:1-8; Ephes.
5:27; Phil. 3:11,20-21; 1 Thes. 2:19; 1 Thes. 3:13; 1 Thes. 4:13-17; 1 Thes.
5:9,23; 2 Thes. 2:1,7-8; Col. 3:4; 1 John 2:28; 1 John 3:2; 1 Peter 5:4).
[early and latter rain] The early and latter rains in Palestine, the
early rain at seedtime and the latter rain at harvest time (Deut. 11:14), are
used here to picture the fruit of the harvest of souls. The early
spiritual rain fell at the founding of the church (Acts 2:1-16) and the latter
rain will be poured out at the end of this age when the complete harvest of
this church age will be gathered (Acts 2:16-21; cp. Hosea 6:3; Zech.
10:1).
1 Thessalonians 2:19
[For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of
rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at
his coming?]
[Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord
Jesus Christ at his coming] The 2nd New Testament prophecy in 1 Thessalonians
(1 Thes. 2:19, unfulfilled).
Rapture and Second Coming
Greek: parousia
(GSN-3952), personal presence (note, Matthew 24:3). This refers to the rapture,
“not” the second coming of Christ. It is the same as in 1 Thes.
3:13; 1 Thes. 4:13-17; 1 Thes. 5:8; 2 Thes. 2:7.
These two comings should not be confused. The scriptures that apply to one do not apply
to the other.
Not one passage refers to both events as if they were one. These two
distinct comings are separated by several years, so they aren't two stages or
phases of one coming.
The “rapture”
(Latin word) is the first of the two comings, not a coming to earth but in
the air.
It could not be the
second coming because Christ does not come to the earth to live here to
fulfill a mission as He did at the first coming. Whereas, when He comes in
the rapture, He does “NOT” step foot on the earth, but calls the Saints
(dead in the grave in Jesus Christ and we that are alive in Christ) up
to meet Him in the air!
When Christ meets the “saints” in the air
He takes them back to heaven with Him and presents them before the
Father's throne where they remain during the time the tribulation is running
its course on the earth (1
Thes.3:13; John 14:1-3).
1 Thes. 4:13-17.The marriage supper and the judgment of saints take
place in heaven. Then at the second coming after the tribulation Christ and
the saints leave heaven together. They come down to the earth (2 Cor. 5:10;
Rev. 19:11-16).
The rapture is the time Christ comes “for” the
saints to take them to heaven.
The second coming
Is the time He comes to the earth to live here and fulfil a mission as
King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This is the time He comes from heaven
“with” the saints, having raptured them at least seven years before.
THEREFORE THE SECOND COMING OF
CHRIST
Cannot take place until all of Rev. 1:1-19:21 is fulfilled, whereas the
rapture can take place any moment without anything being fulfilled.
Scriptures on the Rapture—Christ's Coming “FOR”
the Saints:
1. Pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy
to escape all these things ... and to stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:34).
2. In My Father's house are many mansions ... I
go to prepare a place for you ... I will come again, and receive you unto
Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also (John 14:1-3).
3. We shall not all sleep (die physically), but
we shall all be changed. In a moment ... at the last trump ... the dead shall
be raised incorruptible, and we (the living) shall be changed ... put on
immortality ... then ... death is swallowed up in victory (1 Cor. 15:51-56).
4. Christ loved the church ... that He might
present it to Himself (Ephes. 5:25-27).
5. From whence (heaven) also we look for ...
Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body (Phil. 3:11,20-21; 2 Cor.
5:1-9).
6. For the Lord Himself shall descend from
heaven ... the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive
and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the
Lord in the air (note on earth, to go back to heaven with Him; 1 Thes. 4:13-18;
1 Thes. 2:19; 1 Thes. 3:13; 1 Thes. 5:9,23).
7. We beseech you ... by our gathering together
unto Him ... until he be taken out of the way (2 Thes. 2:1,7-8, ).
8. When Christ ... shall appear, then shall ye
also appear with Him in glory (Col. 3:4; 1 John 2:28; 1 John 3:2; 1 Peter 5:4).
9. Be patient ... unto the coming of the
Lord... until He receive the early and latter rain (James 5:7-8).
Scriptures on the Second
Coming -
Christ's Coming “WITH” the
Saints:
1. One like the Son of man came with the clouds
of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him.
And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages shall serve
Him (Daniel 2:44-45; Daniel 7:13-14; Daniel 18; Daniel 27).
2. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight
against those nations ... His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount
of Olives, which ... shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and
toward the west ... the
Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with Thee (Zech.
14:1-5,9,16-21).
3. Immediately after the tribulation ...
then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the son of man
coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Matthew 24:29-31).
4. When the Son of man shall come in His glory,
and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the
throne of His glory. And before Him shall be gathered all nations (Matthew
25:31-46).
5. When the Lord shall be revealed from
heaven with His mighty angels. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them
that know not God (2 Thes. 1:7-10; 2 Thes. 2:8).
6. The Lord cometh with ten thousands of His
saints, to execute judgment upon all ... that are ungodly (Jude
1:14-15).
7. He cometh with clouds; and every eye
shall see Him ... all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him
... the armies of heaven followed Him upon white horses (Rev. 1:7. 1 Thes.
19:11-21; 1 Thes. 20:1-3; Isaiah 63:1-6; Joel 3).
Mark 13:32 (KJV)
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
[But of that day and that hour knoweth no man,
no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father]
This verse proves that Christ was limited in knowledge while in the days of
His flesh (Matthew 24:36; Luke 2:40,52; Phil. 2:7,).
Philip. 2:7 (KJV)
But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a
servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[made himself of no reputation]
The "Kenosis" of Christ
Greek: kenoo
(GSN-2758), to empty out, drain. It is translated "make void"
(Romans 4:14; 1 Cor. 9:15); "make of none effect" (1 Cor. 1:17);
"be in vain" (2 Cor. 9:3); and "make of no reputation"
(i.e., He emptied Himself; Phil. 2:7).
Of what did Christ empty Himself?
It could not have been His divine nature, for He was God not only from
all eternity (Micah 5:1-2; John 1:1-2; Hebrews 1:8; Rev. 1:8-11), but God
manifest in flesh during His life on earth (Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6-7; Matthew
1:18-25; John 1:1-2,14; 1 Tim. 3:16).
Christ emptied Himself of:
1. Equality with God (Phil. 2:6-7; John 14:28;
1 Cor. 11:3)
2. God-form or God-body, the spirit body that
He lived in from eternity, to take human-form (Phil. 2:6-8; Phil. 3:21; Matthew
1:18-25; Luke 1:35; John 1:14; Luke 24:37-40; Zech. 13:6; Galatians 4:4; Romans
8:3)
3. Immortality of body (1 Cor. 15:3; Psalm
16:10; 1 Peter 2:24; 1 Peter 3:18)
4. The glory that He had with the Father
before the world was (John 12:23; John 17:5; Matthew 16:27; Phil. 2:5-11)
5. His authority in heaven and in earth, which
was given back to Him after the resurrection (Matthew 28:18; Phil. 2:9-11;
Ephes. 1:20-23; 1 Peter 3:22)
6. His divine attributes and outward powers
that He had with the Father from eternity. He had no power to do miracles until He received the Holy
Spirit in all fullness (John 2:11; John 3:34; Isaiah 11:1-2; Isaiah 42:1-7;
Isaiah 61:1-2; Luke 3:21-22; Luke 4:16-21; Matthew 12:28; Acts 10:38).
JESUS, ALWAYS HONORED AND GAVE PRAISE
TO HIS HEAVENLY FATHER!
He could do nothing of Himself in all His
earthly life. He attributed
all His works, doctrines, powers, etc. to the Father through the anointing
of the Holy Spirit (John 8:28). This is proved by the following facts in
Scripture:
John 8:28 (KJV)
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but
as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
[When ye have lifted up the Son of man] When
you have lifted up (crucified, John 3:14; John 12:34) the Son of Man, then by
My resurrection and ascension shall you know that I am the light of the world,
the Son of God.
[I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath
taught me]
Christ's Union with the Father
1. The Son can do nothing of
Himself (John 5:17,19; John 8:18).
2. I can of Mine own self do
nothing (John 5:30).
3. I seek not Mine own will, but
the will of the Father (John 5:30; John 6:38).
4. My doctrine is not Mine, but His
that sent Me (John 7:16; John 8:26,38).
5. I do nothing of Myself (John
8:28).
6. I do always those things that
please Him (John 8:29).
7. I came from God, neither came I
of Myself (John 8:42; John 16:28).
8. I seek not Mine own glory (John
8:50,54).
9. I have not spoken of Myself, but
the Father gave Me commandment what to speak (John 10:25, 37-38; John
14:10-11).
WHILE
CHRIST WAS IN THE FORM OF MAN
IN THE
FLESH
(1) He was limited to the status of a man
(Phil. 2:6-8; Hebrews 2:14-18; Hebrews 5:8-9).
(2) He was God's agent using God's power of
attorney (note, John 8:28; Acts 10:38).
(3) He was our example that we should walk in
His steps (1 Peter 2:21).
(4) The temptations prove that He was limited
as a man so that He could overcome as a man and not as God (Hebrews 4:14-16;
Hebrews 5:7-9).
(5) Isaiah (Isaiah 7:14-16) speaks of the
Messiah being born without knowledge enough to know to refuse the evil and
choose the good.
(6) Isaiah (Isaiah 11:2; Isaiah 53:1-12) speaks
of the Messiah being limited as an ordinary baby, showing that God would give
Him the spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear of
the Lord. If He had these attributes as God from all eternity and did not
lay them aside in becoming man when was this ever true of Him?
(7) Isaiah (Isaiah 50:4-11) predicted that the
Messiah would be born without the tongue of the learned, without knowing how to
speak a word in season to help any soul, and that He would be wakened day by
day to increase in knowledge and wisdom.
(8) Isaiah (Isaiah 42:1-7; Isaiah 61:12-2)
speaks of Messiah receiving His power to manifest divine acts by the anointing
of the Holy Spirit and not by retaining His own former natural attributes
and powers.
Is it necessary for God to be anointed with the
Holy Spirit to do what He is naturally capable of doing?
If it became necessary to anoint Jesus during
His earthly life, then it proves He did not retain His former glory and
attributes which He had from all eternity when He emptied Himself to become
like men in all things (Phil. 2:6-8; Hebrews 2:14-18; Hebrews 5:8-9).
(9) History records that Christ was limited as
a baby and grew in body, soul, and spirit (mind, 1 Cor. 2:11), grace, wisdom,
stature, and favor with God and man (Luke 2:40,52). Even after His manhood, His
full anointing and gifts of the Spirit, He was still limited in knowledge
(Mark 13:32). He even learned obedience by the things He suffered (Hebrews
4:14-16; Hebrews 5:7-9).
(10) He did not claim the attributes of God, but
only the anointing of the Spirit to do His works (John 8:28; Matthew 12:28;
Luke 4:16-21). Others stated this was the source of His power (John 3:34; Acts
10:38).
Most scriptures used in theological texts proving that Christ
had divine attributes on earth are statements true of Him since His glory has
been restored and do not prove anything during His life on earth. All
scriptures related to His earthly life can be explained as referring to the
exercise of the gifts of the Spirit and not natural attributes. {this
is what some theological texts try to prove}
(11) The fact that Christ promised all
believers power to do the works “He did prove that it was through the
anointing of the Spirit,” not by His deity and natural attributes, that
He did His works (Matthew 10:1-20; Matthew 16:18; Matthew 18:18; Luke 10;
Luke 24:49; Mark 16:15-20; John 14:12-15; Acts 1:4-8).
(12) His exaltation to original glory and the
highest place under God the Father is proof of His lowest humiliation and
earthly limitation short of being God by nature (Phil. 2:9-11; Ephes. 1:20-23;
Col. 1:15-23; Col. 1:15-23; 1 Peter 3:22).
Philip. 2:6 (KJV)
Who, being in the form of
God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Seven steps in His humiliation:
1. Christ was consecrated to humble Himself
(Phil. 2:5).
2. Christ laid aside His divine form (Phil.
2:6).
3. Christ made Himself of no reputation (Phil.
2:7).
4. Christ took the form of a servant (Phil.
2:7).
5. Christ was made in the likeness of human
beings (Phil. 2:7).
6. Christ humbled Himself (Phil. 2:8).
7. Christ became obedient unto death (Phil.
2:8).
[being] Greek: huparcho (GSN-5225), though existing; subsisting.
He existed as God from all eternity (Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6-7; Micah 5:2; John
1:1-2; Hebrews 1:8; Rev. 1:8-11).
[form] Greek: morphe (GSN-3444), the outward form that strikes the
vision; the external appearance. Phil. 2:7; Mark 16:12. The passage could
read, "who, existing in the form of God (by which He from eternity had
appeared to the inhabitants of heaven), yet not thinking that this equality
with God should be clung to or retained, He emptied Himself of it, so as to
assume the form of a servant and become like man" (Phil. 2:6-7).
Philip. 2:5-11 (KJV)
Let this mind be in you,
which was also in Christ Jesus: [6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it
not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and
took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8]
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient
unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly
exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name
of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and
things under the earth; [11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
[hath highly exalted him, and given him a name
which is above every name]
Seven steps in His exaltation:
1. God highly exalted Him (Phil.
2:9; Ephes. 1:21).
2. God gave Him a name above all
(Phil. 2:9).
3. At the mere mention of His name,
every knee must bow (Phil. 2:10).
4. Everything in heaven must bow
(Phil. 2:10).
5. Everything in earth must bow
(Phil. 2:10).
6. Everything under the earth must
bow (Phil. 2:10).
7. Every tongue confess His
Lordship to the glory of God the Father (Phil. 2:11).
DESCRIPTIONS
AND DEFINITIONS OF SIN
chatta'ah, Hebrew 2403, Strong’s chatta'ah,
PRONOUNCED -khat-taw-aw; or chatta'th, khat-tawth; from
Hebrew 2398 (chata); an offence (sometimes habitual sinfulness),
and its penalty, occasion, sacrifice, or expiation; also (concrete) an offender:
punishment (of sin), purifying (fication for sin), sin (ner, offering).
Genesis 18:20 (KJV)
And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and
Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very
grievous;
Genesis 50:17 (KJV)
So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee
now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto
thee evil: and now, we pray
thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph
wept when they spake unto him.
Exodus 32:30-32 (KJV)
And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said
unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto
the Lord; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. [31] And Moses returned unto the Lord, and said, Oh, this people
have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. [32] Yet now, if
thou wilt forgive their sin… and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of
thy book which thou hast written.
Even if they (the Hebrew people) sinned in ignorance, their still had
to be a blood offering of a young bullock sacrificed for their sin
Leviticus 4:2-3 (KJV)
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If
a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the Lord
concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
[3] If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then
let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without
blemish unto the Lord for a sin offering.
Leviticus 4:13-14 (KJV)
And if the whole congregation of Israel sin
through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and
they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the Lord concerning
things which should not be done, and are guilty; [14] When the sin, which they
have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young
bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.
“CONTINUING TO SIN IS A MATTER OF CHOICE”
SINCE CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS AND
AROSE
AGAIN UNTO NEWNESS OF LIFE,
FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS
Question: What is sin?
Answer: Sin, is a transgression against God or The family of God!
Hebrews 10:18 (KJV) Now where remission of these is, there
is no more offering for sin.
aphesis, Greek 859, Strong’s, pronounced - af'-es-is; from Greek 863
(aphiemi); freedom; (figurative) pardon: deliverance,
forgiveness, liberty, remission.
Hebrews 10:26 (KJV)
For if we sin wilfully after that we have
received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for
sins,
1 John 2:1 (KJV)
My little children, these things write I unto you,
that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus
Christ the righteous: {repent and call on Jesus Christ to forgive you}
1 John 3:4-5 (KJV)
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law:
for sin is the transgression of the law. [5] And ye know that he was
manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. {transgression of the
law or commandments of God not the law of man}
1 John 3:8-9 (KJV)
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for
the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whosoever is
born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he
cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 5:16-17 (KJV)
If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not
unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto
death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. [17] All
unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
John 8:34 (KJV)
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say
unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
Romans 5:12-13 (KJV)
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world,
and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
[13] (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there
is no law).
Romans 5:20-21 (KJV)
Moreover the law entered, that the offence might
abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: [21] That as sin
hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto
eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:1-2 (KJV)
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin,
that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live
any longer therein?
Romans 6:6-7 (KJV)
Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with
him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not
serve sin. [7] For he that is dead is freed from sin. {This is one of the
reasons for water baptism for the remission of our sins Matt. 28:19}
Romans 6:10-11 (KJV)
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in
that he liveth, he liveth unto God. [11] Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to
be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:12-15 (KJV)
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body,
that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. [13] Neither yield ye your members
as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as
those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of
righteousness unto God. [14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for
ye are not under the law, but under grace. [15] What then? shall we sin,
because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Romans 6:16-18 (KJV)
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves
servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto
death, or of obedience unto righteousness? [17] But God be thanked, that ye
were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of
doctrine which was delivered you. [18] Being then made free from sin, ye
became the servants of righteousness.
Romans 6:22-23 (KJV)
But now being made free from sin, and become
servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting
life. [23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 3:4 (KJV)
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law:
for sin is the transgression of the law. {this is referring to the law of God
and not the laws of man}
pesha, Hebrew 6588, Strong’s pasha, pronounced - peh-shah;
from Hebrew 6586 (pasha); a revolt (national, moral or religious):
rebellion, sin, transgression, trespass.
NOW THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD WHAT SIN AND
TRANSGRESSION IS
You cannot sin or transgress against God in any way or by any means knowingly
or unknowingly and be able to convince Almighty God (speaking truth) that
you sinned in ignorance, which is saying that you are ignorant of what you said
or done against God. Speaking idle words is not enough of an excuse when you
stand before Almighty God at the Judgment, Matthew 12:36-37. Apostle Paul
said, “I would not have you ignorant brethren.” Romans 1:13; 1st
Corinthians 1:21; 1st Thessalonians 4:13.
Acts 4:13 (KJV)
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John,
and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and
they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
Romans 1:13 (KJV)
Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that
oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might
have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
Romans 10:3 (KJV)
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness,
and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not
submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

IF YOU ARE “NOT” WORSHIPPING “THE
LORD JESUS CHRIST THE LIVING SON OF
ALMIGHTY GOD,” THEN YOU DEFINITELY ARE WORSHIPPING SATAN THE
DEVIL AND WHATEVER THE REST OF THE UNGODLY NAMES THAT HE IS CALLED AND
KNOWN BY!
You will stand before Almighty God regardless of whether you believe it
or not.
What you believe does NOT change God. What Almighty God has already
declared has already been written into absolute fact and are His laws,
Commandments carved in stone with his own finger!
What you believe, can allow Almighty God to change you!
Is your name written in the Lambs Book of Life? Is it still
there or has it been erased?
Aaron (the brother of Moses), his name was in the Book of Life of the
Lamb of God at one time and God erased it because Aaron helped build the golden
calf (idol). After Aaron repented, God restored Aarons name in the Lambs
Book of Life again! Revelation 13:8; Exodus 32:32-33; Deuteronomy
9:14; Deuteronomy 29:20;
Exodus 32:33 (KJV)
And the Lord said unto
Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Deut. 29:20 (KJV)
The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the
Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that
are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name
from under heaven.
[The LORD
will not spare him] God's Vow to Apostates:
What is an Apostate?
An apostate, is a person that abandons their former allegiance to Jesus
Christ or Almighty God, therefore are in a backslidden state having
fallen away from God! A person who forsakes their faith in God, cause,
allegiance and aligns themselves with another!
God promises not to have mercy upon the backslider
whose heart turns away from Him and becomes apostate (Deut. 29:18-20; Jeremiah
13:14; Jeremiah 21:7; Ezekiel 7:4,9; Ezekiel 8:18; Ezekiel 9:10; Romans 11:21).
God did not spare Israel (Romans 11:21; Jude 1:5), or the antediluvians and
fallen angels (2 Peter 2:4-5), so we cannot expect Him to spare other
apostates.
Six Marks of Apostates:
1. Turning away from God in the
heart (Deut. 29:18)
2. Idolatry
3. A zeal to lead others away from
God and thus become a root of gall and bitterness to them
4. Pride and presumption which cause
one to laugh at sin and make light of evil (Deut. 29:19)
5. Walking after the imaginations
of the heart
6. Living a life of
self-gratification and sensual lusts
Six Judgments of God upon Apostates:
1. They
will receive no mercy (Deut. 29:20; Hebrews 10:26-29).
2. His
fierce anger will be against them.
3. He
will lay upon them all the curses written in this book.
4. He
will blot out their names from under heaven.
5. He
will separate them from the righteous to be punished (Deut. 29:21; 2 Peter
2:9-10)
6. He
will make them examples to coming generations of His wrath (Deut. 29:22-28)
Eight Things that God Blots Out
1. Names
under heaven (Deut. 29:20; Deut. 9:14; Psalm 109:13-14)
2. Name
in heaven—out of the book of life (Exodus 32:32-33; Psalm 69:28; Rev. 3:5; Rev.
22:18-19)
