PUT GOD FIRST - PART I
Respect, Honor, Polite Attitudes with the utmost of praise unto The
Heavenly Father is not a demand of the Heavenly Father but is instead very
welcomed and appreciated by Him!
As God told Abraham!
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless
them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all
families of the earth be blessed.
Moses and King David also remembered what the
Lord said
to Abraham!
Psalm 115:13 He will bless them
that fear the Lord, both small and great.
Jesus The Son of God said!
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse
you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you;
[But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you,
do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you,
and persecute you]
Four commands in Matthew 5:44:
1. Love your enemies.
2. Bless them that curse you.
3. Do good to those that hate you.
4. Pray for your persecutors.
These
are four of over 1,050 commands in the New Testament to be obeyed by
Christians. The universal impression in Christendom that there are 10
commandments to obey is far from the truth, there are many more then that!
New
Testament Commands
There
are 1,050 commands in the New Testament for Christians to obey. Due to
repetitions we can classify them under about 800 headings. They cover every phase of man's life in his
relationship to God and his fellowmen, now and hereafter. If obeyed, they will bring rich rewards here
and forever; if disobeyed, they will bring condemnation and eternal punishment. They are not to be confused with the 10
commandments which God gave unto Moses for Moses to give unto the Hebrew people
which are also referred to as the Laws of Moses. However, they pertain to and involve
them.
They are divided below under their various
headings.

The Christ into your hear then at that time The Heavenly Father will listen to
your prayer and grant the petition that you have made of Him!
Then, at that time you become one of His Own and will grant the
petition that you have made of Him.
1 John 5:14-15 And this is the
confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his
will, he heareth us: [15] And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we
know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
Shown below are Scriptures of when God
Will NOT listen to your prayers or voice!
Isaiah 1:15 And when ye spread
forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many
prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities
have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from
you, that he will not hear.
Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth:
behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts,
because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.
Jeremiah 7:16 Therefore pray not thou for this people,
neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me:
for I will not hear thee.
Jeremiah 11:14 Therefore pray not thou for this people,
neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the
time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
Jeremiah 14:12 When they fast, I will not hear
their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I
will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and
by the famine, and by the pestilence.
Ezekiel 8:18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye
shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears
with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
Micah 3:4 Then shall they cry unto the Lord, but he
will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as
they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
Malachi 2:2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will
not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord
of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse
your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because
ye do not lay it to heart.
People that do NOT take God serious
WILL suffer a penalty for it!
Put God first in your life
Leviticus 7:38 Which the Lord commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.
qorban, kor-bawn'; or qurban, koor-bawn'; from
Hebrew 7126 (qarab); something brought near the altar, i.e. a sacrificial
present : oblation, that is offered, offering.
Since the time of Christ’s death, burial, Resurrection and Ascension
unto Heaven this is now pertaining to the prayers of the Saints of God and to
the prayer of repentance of the Sinner.
Ezekiel 20:40 For in mine
holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord God,
there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there
will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the
firstfruits of your oblations, with all your holy things.
“Whosoever
shall Call
Upon the Lord”
Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
[whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved]
This will be true as long as there are sinners to repent. There is no such doctrine in Scripture as the door of mercy being closed to Jews or Gentiles at any time before their death (Hebrews 9:27)
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall
call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Put God first!
[whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved]
Quoted from Joel 2:32; Acts 2:21. Believing on Christ and calling upon Him are
in effect the same thing
(Romans 10:9-13). Calling upon God
presupposes faith in Him, and if one has faith he will call upon God in all
times of need.
[Lord]
Paul uses the Greek: Kurios
(GSN-2962), for the Hebrew Jehovah (HSN-3068) of Joel 2:32, proving that
Jesus of Romans 10:9 is called Jehovah.
Thus there was more than one Jehovah in the Old Testament (Genesis
19:24). Compare Psalm 110:1 with Matthew
22:44; Acts 2:34 where the same Greek word is used of both God and Christ in
the Septuagint and the New Testament. It is translated "Lord" 667
times
as the equivalent of the Old Testament Jehovah (HSN-3068).
Have
you put or placed Almighty God The Heavenly Father
first
in your heart and life?
If
you have, do you also keep Him in your heart or when you become
irate
(angry), do you curse Him or use His name in vain or
Use
the Name of HIS Son Jesus Christ, in vain?
If
you have, then you have limited your blessings
From
God!
Why don’t
you pray and talk to Him right now?
