STATEMENT OF FAITH – PART I
WE INCLUDE THIS DOCUMENT ALSO, AS PART OF THE
FUNDAMENTAL BELIEFS OF OUR FAITH
We believe and have a deep sincere conviction, that in all things we must glorify the only True and Living God and with integrity present our witness that Yshuah (Jesus The Christ), is the promised Messiah of Israel and Redeemer of the World, we declare the following truths to be included within our foundations of our faith pertaining to God’s Ministry.
(A.) Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God; the Lord is
One; He alone is God. You shall love the Lord your God
with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy
6:4-5,
[one] Hebrew: echad (HSN-259), from achad (HSN-258), to unify; to collect; to be united as one; one (Genesis 2:24; Genesis 3:22; Genesis 11:1,6; Matthew 19:5; John 11:52; John 17:21-22; Acts 1:14; Acts 2:1; Acts 4:32; Acts 5:12; Galatians 3:28; Ephesians 1:10; Ephesians 2:14-15; Hebrews 2:11).
The Unity of God
The above words under (A.) were used at the beginning of the Jewish services both morning and evening (Deuteronomy 5:4-5), and may be termed the short creed of the Jews. In them we find not only the declaration of the Unity of God, the true spiritual worship, (John 4:24), but also the fact that Jehovah is The Absolute God. Literally, "Jehovah our 'Elohiym is The Unified Jehovah." Deuteronomy 6:1-8 was one of four passages which Jews used in the phylacteries, and which they regarded as one of the most filled with truth and instruction. The other passages were Deuteronomy 11:18-21; Exodus 13:2-16.
Three Basic Doctrines Expressed:
1. The unity of God—Jehovah our Elohiym is United Jehovah.
2. The Triune of God. There is more than One Jehovah, but He has many individual names and He is One Jehovah and One God in Unity, thus expressing His Truth in and by three separate and distinct persons, beings, or individuals in The Spirit of God (1 John 5:7). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One, in this way, but yet not one in individuality. The words "Jehovah" and "God" have both a singular and a plural meaning, like the word "sheep." Since there are three separate personalities (spirits), the only way they can be one is in the sense of unity, as prayed for in John 17:21-23. Whereas, God Himself is a Spirit, (John 4:24).
3. True worship consists of loving God with all of your heart, soul, and might. A wholehearted love for God is the first and great commandment (Matthew 22:36-40).
WHEREAS:
(B.) All Scripture has been given by God and is to be used for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness. Deuteronomy 30: 11-20, Psalm 119, 2 Tim. 3:16
(C.) Yshuah of Nazareth is the Messiah of Israel who appeared in the flesh, lived a Holy life in obedience to the Holy Scripture, died as the final Passover Lamb required for the remission of sins, arose from the dead after three days and is now glorified at the right hand of the Father until He comes again. Also, upon the person’s (Individual’s), repentance and Salvation, Yshuah The Messiah’s (Jesus The Christ) Spirit also lives (resides) within the person’s soul. He will also come from Heaven with His Saints, to rule and reign over the entire earth at Jerusalem in the restored Kingdom of Israel. 1st Samuel. 7; Daniel 7: 13-14; Zechariah 14; Luke 1:30-33; and Revelation 19:11-16; Revelation 19-22.
(D.) The New Covenant imparts a new heart (spirit), to replace a heart of stone, and upon that new heart the Holy Word of God is written so that by the grace of God at work in us, we learn to live a life of Holiness and Righteousness even as Yshuah did. Former Gentiles who join themselves to God partake of the New Covenant by being grafted in to the rich root of the Olive Tree, which is Israel, and by their faith in God receiving Yshuah The Messiah (Jesus The Christ) into their heart (repentant and forgiven) have become counted as the seed of Abraham. Jeremiah 31: 31-34, Isaiah 56:6-8, Galatians 3: 6-14; Romans 10:9-13
(E) The people of God are a Holy congregation called (Sanctified unto God), to be different from the world and to gather and celebrate His appointed festivals, to be a Royal Priesthood that praises His name, and to shine as The Light of Truth. Leviticus 23; Matthew 5:14-16; John 14:6; I Peter 1:13-16; I Peter 2: 9-10.
(F) The Shabbat, the seventh day of the week, is the created Holy day of God, which He gave to mankind as a sign of His Covenant forever. While we should worship God every day of the week as the believers in the Book of Acts exemplify, the Shabbat is nevertheless the sanctified day of the Lord. Genesis 2:2-3; Exodus 31:12-17; Isaiah 58: 13-14.
(G) The final Divine Plan for Israel is to bring the remnant of the Jewish people and the remnant of those believers who were formerly Gentiles but have joined themselves to God into one Holy nation under one Shepherd, namely Yshuah The Messiah, as a necessary part of the restoration of all things spoken of by the prophets. Zechariah 14:2-11; Hosea 1-2, Acts 3:21, John 17; Revelation 19:11 through Chapter 22
(H) Those who have joined themselves to the Lord should be known by their fruits. The evidence of their faith must be seen in a consecrated, humble and Holy life which delights the Heart of God and serves as a testimony of righteousness in this world. Deuteronomy 7: 6-9, Matthew 12:33-37. Revelation 19:10.
(I) We believe that God rewards those who keep His commandments and punishes those who violate them. In the final judgment, the wicked shall be separated from the just and all those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be separated from His presence. Those who have followed Him will receive the reward of their obedience and live in the light of His glory forever. Deuteronomy 25; Matthew 7:21-23;
Statement of Purpose
We further believe and have a deep
personal conviction of God to Shama (Hebrew word meaning listen to God, “intelligently”), Teach,
Proclaim, Reveal, Herald the Divine Oracle of Almighty God by and with perspective of faith in obedience to the
One True God which is eternally existent in three Persons, Personalities
(Spirits), God the Heavenly Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
Maybe this sounds like a very simple statement, but let's look again at what it says as it is broken down into four parts.
First this statement acknowledges that God gave the scriptures by Holy
men of God and to the Hebrew people. The Holy Oracle of God must be interpreted
through not only by the customs of the Hebrew people and by Holy men of God
according to the time in which it was written.
However, to interpret scripture through idle customs, traditions, or denominational preference is sure to lead to error. Further, we acknowledge that the lack of teaching truth, and the lack of revealing truth in knowledge, has been a part of church history. This has caused errors such as replacement theology and even pagan customs to enter into our relationship with God. Let us remember that Yshuah (Jesus The Christ), The Messiah, did not come to start a new religion, but to direct people back to the true one (Truth). Yshuah The Messiah (Jesus The Christ) did NOT come to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it, Matthew 5:17. The First Five Books of Laws and Statutes of God on Mt. Sinai through Moses, we now call, The Torah.
We further believe and have a deep personal conviction of God that we must continue to Shama (Hebrew word, meaning to listen to God, “intelligently” with a humble heart), Teach, Proclaim, Reveal, Herald the Divine Oracle of Almighty God as it was ORIGINALLY written and proclaimed by the Holy Prophets of Old.
Second we look at faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6). There is no relationship with God without this first vital step. But let us not try to end there. After all our churches are full of people with faith, both intellectual faith and emotional faith. Scripture warns though that even the demons believe and they tremble. These beings have both intellectual and emotional faith, but will they enjoy the goodness of God forever? I do not think so. James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Third is obedience. Yacov (James) said that faith without works is dead. But how do we define works, obedience to what? Is it obedience to my church doctrine, or to a list of rules that someone has made up. Is it obedience to what "I" think is the right thing to do? There must be a standard and that standard is the Oracle or God, Yshuah The Messiah (Jesus The Christ) and “The Torah” which is the first five books of the Bible, The “Words” that “God” gave to Moses on Mt. Sinai. These “Words” have never changed nor have they been done away with (Matthew 5:17; John 1:1; John 6:63). These “Words” are our standard and our obedience to them and Yshuah The Messiah (Jesus The Christ) is what separates us from the world. When these instructions are lived out we can truly become the light of the world through Yshuah (Jesus The Christ).
Last, but not least is that we are serving the ONE TRUE GOD. There may be many gods in this world today, but only one is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the One who introduced Himself to Moses as I AM. He revealed Himself to the Hebrew people thru the scriptures and later thru the life of Yshuah, His Only Begotten Son. It is this “God” that we serve and are accountable to. It is this “God” that we enjoy today and will enjoy for eternity.
Please take time to read the next few pages. If you have questions please do not hesitate to email me.
YOU HAVE READ THROUGH OUR STATEMENT OF PURPOSES, BUT WHY DOES THIS MINISTRY EXIST AND ON WHAT SCRIPTURES DO WE STAND?
Let me start with Deuteronomy 18:18; Isaiah 56: 6-8; 61:1; Matthew
10:7; 11:1; 28:19; Mark 3:14; 16:15-20; Luke 4:18; 4:43; 9:2; 10:17-19; Acts
5:42, 10:42; 14:15; 15:21; Galatians 1:8; Colossians 1:28; 2nd Timothy
4:2; Revelation14:6. I encourage you to read these words in your own
Bible before going on.
Isaiah speaks of the "foreigner." In Hebrew this term is used
for a people that are not related biologically (by birth), but are living among
you, as one of you, obeying what used to be the laws of your land before
Federal Emergency Act (FEMA), was enacted. Could this be the people that are being
spoken of in Romans 11?
Here are some responsibilities of the people.
1. Join themselves to God's family
2. Love God
3. Do His work by Preaching the acceptable years of our Lord
and edifying the Saints of God, looking for His soon coming
again
4. Keep and not profane Shabbat (Saturday)
5. Hold fast to God's Covenants
Here are the promises that they can stand on.
1. Bring them to my holy mountain. Do you desire to go to Israel? Here
is the promise of a way.
2. Make them joyful. Wow, could the church use an honest dose of this
one.
3. Our offerings and sacrifices will be accepted. Now stay with
me. Have you ever felt that what you were doing and giving was just not being
noticed? Be truthful.
4. The house of God is not complete without the foreigner. It is an
honor to be part of the family and His plans.
There is so much more within those words for each of us, but
"shema," ((to hear (listen) “intelligently”)). The words of the
Rabbis that are so fitting here: "through doing, comes understanding."
Start to live the responsibilities and watch the promises flow.
The other question is why
we sometimes use the word "Jehovah," with which there are a number of
reasons, but the first one is respect. For too long the world, and
unfortunately the church have used the names of God in a manner that could be
termed "in vain." Mankind has lost respect for The Creator of the
universe and for His name. God has many names that He has used thru the
centuries to introduce Himself to mankind. With each name was another attribute
of who He is. There is no doubt that we can not comprehend all that He is at
one time. A favorite Jewish author said it like this, "If I understood all
that He is, I would be Him." There is no way that man will ever comprehend
the Almighty, yet man has thru the centuries tried to bring Him down to our
level, many times thru familiarity of His names.
The Hebrew people (nation) have and show more respect and fear of The Almighty,
more then most any nation of people on earth and with good cause. Let
me describe the use of “Jehovah” like this. If you were to have an audience
with the president of the United States you would not call him George or some
nickname that you made up on the spot. You would address him as Mr. President
unless he gave permission otherwise. Now if one of Mr. Bush's daughters was to
walk in, she would not call him George either because this is not a name for a
child to use. She would call him father or dad etc. She would also be right to
call him Mr. President though.
For me to use the name of God which appears in this scripture of Isaiah
which is the letters YH & VH is to me like calling our President, George.
The use of the term “Jehovah” is to encompass each of His names and give
reverence to all that He is. The wonderful part that is added on though is that
I also have the right as one of His children to call Him Abba, Father, Daddy.
OUR VISION IS TO FEED, RULE, TEACH, HAVE THE OVERSIGHT, ENCOURAGE,
EDIFY AND REBUKE
Proverbs 29:18 speaks of a people that go astray because they do not
have a vision or a Divine revelation. It also says that those who keep the
Torah (God’s Laws, Statutes, Commandments and Repenting of their sins receiving
Yshuah The Messiah (Jesus The Christ into their heart ) ), will be praiseworthy.
Let me first ask a few questions.
1.) Do you long for the true power of God as displayed in the accounts of the children of Israel, the prophets, Yshuah, the book of Acts?
2.) Do we truly see this kind of power today in our modern churches and in the lives of those who call themselves God's people?
3.) Are you tired of a system of religion? One that does the same thing over and over again expecting different results, but never finding them? By the way, this is the definition of insanity!
4.) Are you tired of seeing people walk an aisle only to see them then walk on through the back door never to be seen again?
5.) Are you longing for a true sense of community, where people really know one another and care about each others lives?
OUR
VISION STILL FURTHER IS
To teach wherever there are 2, 3 or more that hunger for the truths of God, worshipping Him, that is eternally existent in three personalities (Spirits), which are Father, Son and Holy Ghost. To not be concerned about numbers of people, but rather that Almighty God is glorified and that we then become lights, allowing Him to shine through us for the world to see. We believe in teaching scripture from a Hebraic, Holy prospective. Simply put, this means that through doing “His” “Word,” there will come understanding of “His Word.” Thereby, teaching all of scripture (Genesis thru Revelation), with the foundation of His Revealed Knowledge being our guide. Further, by the Blood of the Lamb of God and by the Power of the Holy Ghost. The Words of the prophets, Yshuah and the apostles giving further Revelation, but always pointing back to faith in Almighty God and obedience to Him.
Do I believe that one man or one relatively small ministry can make a difference in this world? When that person or group of people have been called, chosen and Ordained of God, that answer is defiantly yes. Moses Did, Yshuah The Messiah (Jesus The Christ) did and still does. By the grace of God this ministry (God’s Ministry), will make a difference, because I have been called, chosen and Ordained of God in the same sense as Apostle Paul. But We (God’s Ministry), are not standing alone. We will make even a greater difference when others of similar vision and like faith come along side to pray and support the Lord’s work. Philippians 4:13; 1st John 4:4; 1st John 5:14.
Not
by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts
Zech. 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the
word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my
spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Our Faith, Trust and Confidence is
in Jesus Christ our Lord!
Hebrews 12:28-13:2 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which
cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with
reverence and godly fear: [29] For our
God is a consuming fire. [13:1] Let brotherly love continue. [2] Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby
some have entertained angels unawares.
WHO
HAVE “YOU” ENTERTAINED LATELY?
Revelation 22:7-21 Behold, I come
quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
[8] And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen,
I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these
things. [9] Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy
fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the
sayings of this book: worship God. [10] And he saith unto me, Seal not the
sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. [11] He that is
unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy
still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is
holy, let him be holy still. [12] And, behold, I come
quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work
shall be. [13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and
the last. [14] Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may
have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the
city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and
murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
[16] I
Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I
am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
[17] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say,
Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the
water of life freely. [18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the
words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God
shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: [19] And if
any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God
shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and
from the things which are written in this book.
[20] He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I
come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
[21] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
So
mote it be!
