THE FATHER THAT DWELLETH IN ME,

HE DOETH THE WORKS

John 14:10  Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

As we have stated in an earlier document,

“Words are Spirit”

And food for thought, look at what Jesus Christ said in, John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

So, we will declare it again

“Words are Spirit”

Realizing that we humans are made in the image and likeness of God when God said in,

Genesis 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Explanation!

Jesus Christ (The Only Begotten Son of God) And God (The Heavenly Father) were the “us” and the “our image,” “our likeness” that is shown in Genesis 1:26 above. Jesus Christ (The Only Begotten Son of God) confirms this in (John 17:5 and again in John 17:24).

Because we humans

are made in the image and likeness of God, our “Words Are Spirit” also. Whereas, man is a spirit being and has a soul and lives within a fleshly body of clay which returns back to ashes and dust at death (Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return).

God Said (spoke)!

There are over 41 scriptures declaring God said (spoke) pertaining to the God’s creation and His (God’s) making of the Heavens and Earth and when He (God) gave His (God’s) Commands or instruction(s) to the world and all that is therein, including the Heavens and the Earth!

Genesis 35:10-11  And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel. [11] And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

Exodus 3:14-15  And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. [15] And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Exodus 13:17  And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

Luke 12:20  But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

Therefore

God also considers speaking as work (or at least a part of His work) as well as working with His hands (Genesis 2:2-3; Hebrews 1:10) of which He (God) rested from His work and achievements.

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. [3] And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

John 14:10 Believes thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Another thought

or explanation!

I, Reverend H. Dean Daniels, have two biological sons, (both are from my loins), each look very much like the other (other than identical) and each look like me. One is named Robert Keith Daniels and the other is Michael Dean Daniels, both are Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, my point to this explanation is, I am in my sons and my sons are in me, because they are from my loins. Further, I as their biological father gave each of them my family name (Daniels). I don’t think that I should have given them someone else’s name. I love the both of them dearly and they both are in my heart (memories, thoughts) and I pray for them continually.

Hence, the explanation for a better understanding of the Lord’s statement in John 14:10… I am in the Father, and the Father in me.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Therefore, because God (The Heavenly Father) is” a Spirit, Jesus Christ The Only Begotten Son of (“of” means from) God (John 3:16) that is one of the reasons God (The Heavenly Father) gave Jesus Christ (His Only Begotten Son) His (God’s) Name, hence, God The Son.

Hebrews 1:1  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, [2] Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; [3] Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? [6] And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

Hebrews 1:8  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. [9] Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. [10] And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

Therefore, these last few verses of Scripture confirm that God (The Heavenly Father) is calling His (God’s) Son God (unto the Son he (God the Father) saith, Thy throne, O God) and later in the verse The Heavenly Father declares and confirms unto His Son the statement, “therefore God (The Father), even thy God (Your God), hath anointed thee (you) with the oil of gladness above thy (your) fellows.”

Therefore we have confirmed the difference

Between God (The Heavenly Father) and

God (The Son).

God also used Apostle Paul

And done many mighty works through the hands of Paul,

Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: [12]  So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

Prepare for the Coming of the Lord

Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign:

Ezekiel 24:19  And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so? [20] Then I answered them, The word of the Lord came unto me, saying, [21] Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword. [22] And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men. [23] And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.

Ezekiel 24:24  Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord God.

Until The Lord silently returns to earth again

as a thief in the night (1st Thess.5:1-

We humans have the opportunity to repent of our sins and transgressions against God seeking His forgiveness.

1 Thes. 5:1-11  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. [2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. [5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. [7] For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

[8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. [9] For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, [10] Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. [11] Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1 Thes. 5:12-28  And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; [13] And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

[14] Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

[15] See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. [16] Rejoice evermore. [17] Pray without ceasing. [18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. [19] Quench not the Spirit. [20] Despise not prophesyings. [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [22] Abstain from all appearance of evil. [23] And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. [24] Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. [25] Brethren, pray for us. [26] Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. [27] I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. [28] The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Come quickly Lord Jesus!

Are you ready to meet Him when He comes?
